Taxi, I'm delurking to say I'm so very, very sorry to hear your news. We've never 'spoken' but I've followed your diary and know you are a strong lady and will get through this. My husband was diagnosed last year and he has blown me away with how strong and positive he has been. We've had a lot of excellent help from Macmillan and I heartily agree with all recommendations to give them a call.

Oh Taxi - I'm so sorry the waiting ended the way it did. But now you know and advances have been made in the treatment of breast cancer. Thank goodness you went early as soon as you noticed the lump.

You are a positive lady and have your family around you - as others have said McMillan are fantastic.

As we've said before a positive and fighting spirit can go a long way in combatting it - so give yourself a short time to get used to the idea, pick yourself up and GO FIGHT IT GAL - LOL!!

I'm sending you lots of positive thoughts and don't hesitate to pm if you ever need an ear or I can help in any way.

Oh Taxi been thinking about you all day so wanted to come on here and hear good news for you.

But you will get through this my sister was diagnosed early last year with breast cancer and she has now completed all her treatment and has been given the all clear saw her at the funeral today and she looks really well.

You have a good family and good friends and lots of virtual friends on here who really care about you - we are all here when you need us and when you are ready
