Hi Taxi, sounds like you have had a good weekend with JJ. I am attempting to grow lettuce this year. So far I have bought lettuce seeds and grow bags. I am guessing that I need to put a little more effort in though ie plant the seeds?! Last year I nurtured a seed that I had planted in a pot and was very proud of myself until it flowered and turned out to be a dandelion! xxx

Sounds like JJ had a fab weekend, and u sounded like it was great as well, I'm first in line for the strawberries...... Just imanine Tess, get the comfy chair, I'd be waited on.

Is it 2mor you go to hosp, just to wish u all the love in the world.

Give you a laugh..... we had the tutorial yesterday for OU, really gd as they went through exam papers, got a better idea.... finished earlier, 30mins but was great.

Rembembering Netto had the kenco cappicunio and latte sachet boxes half price, £1.29 (were £2.60 - mum says their better than the nescafe brand), so decided I'd do a set of 65 sachets up ready for her 65th....... 18 boxes.... then wanted to nip to Asda, round the corner, had the mini cereal packets kellogs £1.. get some for dd for holiday, (refuse to get them any other time), sods law bumped into a girl I use to work with, ended up talking to her for 20mins, then realised was desperate for loo.. (with crutches - headed straight to disabled - bursting point) - when went in thought the floor looked really shiny, but that was the last thing on my mind...... then next thing....brain clocked its a wet floor, someone had obviously tryed to flood it, trying to be as dainty as a sugar plum fairy,..... right foot went skidding, managed to get the crutch upright, by this time my left leg was the other way, knee into the wall and I'm sat back on the loo......... started laughing, thinking this could only happen to me.....tried to get up again and do the long way to the door...... couldn't put pressure on my leg....... so sat on seat, they get the manager and first aider, then a wheelchair, being wheel rounded to theone office..... feeling a right idiot, accident form filled in, then they had to wheel me to the car, his lordship has a face like thunder, "whats taken you so long" then he started laughing..... typical male.... so 3hrs in A+E, xrays in every position, I've fractured my kneecap, we're put u on crutches..........doh.... I'm already using them.... got to go back to fracture clinic 4 weeks.... so been laid up.... at least get this last assisgnment in time....... xx

Sounds like you've had a nice weekend Taxi.
I was late sowing seeds this year, so the tomatoes, rocket, peppers, sweet peas and lobelia are still very tiny and in the greenhouse!

DD1 was given a small begonia at school to grow at home. There is a competition for the best one on the last day of term, so I left DH with strict instructions to help her water it last week while I was away. Well, did he water it - did he ever. The poor plant has virtually drowned to death

On the gardening theme..........(promise I'm not joking), the local radio had a phone in for gardening program, and one woman rang in, and said she'd had her front room window open, and a dandelion blew in, she was concerned that if the seeds had landed on her carpet, will the carpet be growing dandelions...... !!

Hopefully it will heal soon so that you can carry on with your plans.

Have just updated my sig as my car loan came out today and am now under £20k so am happy about that.

The normal £25 payment for BMI also came out today but that isn't included in sig yet as there will be some interest out of that...so only update that when I get the statement.
