Am just back from the hospital...didn't help my nerves any that the consultant was running behind by an hour!!!!

I've had a fine needle aspiration cytology(FNAC) and a mammogram and a thorough examination.

I will not get the results until weds 26th May....

The only positive I got out of him is that he doesn't think it's spread into my armpit.....

So I have another 9 days to wait.

Oh Taxi, Poor You !! :kisses3:

I have been on tenderhooks all afternoon waiting for news from you, so can only imagine how it must feel for you to have to wait another 9 days.:(

What have you got planned for the next few days ?

I've had a good talk with DH ....and he doesn't want me to go to work at the moment or to stress out about anything.
He wanted to do the morning shift on the cab and then come home sleep until teatime and go out again to work until midnight......I have asked him to work as normal at the minute untilI I get the results.
We have covered the bills by bringing some money from the mortgage...so that will take the stress off us.
We only have this wednesday and next wednesday left on the archery course so we need to make the most of it and learn what we can in those two sessions.
On the day of the last archery lesson I will get my results...if they are clear then on with our lives....
If bad news ...then will deal with it at the time....I will claim IB (I know it's not much but every little helps)......DH will work some extra hours and we will pay minimums on all CCs plus his pension and DDs board if we don't need it.

We have evaluated quite a few things and think that we will let the mortgage and loans run their course....

No matter what the outcome we will be putting some money aside for emergencies.

I have also said that I'm not living my life worrying about debt.....and that we are going to have some more fun time as you never know what is around the corner.

Have got to nip to DSs house as he'sjust asked me down for a brew

    Hi Taxi,

I agree with everything you said in the previous post. You MUST concentrate on YOU for now. An emergency fund is more important than clearing the debts.

    Enjoy the brew

    love

I've had a fine needle aspiration cytology(FNAC) and a mammogram and a thorough examination. Good - they didn't make you come back another day for the FNAC :T

I will not get the results until weds 26th May....

Pants - but then most hospitals quote 7 working days for results

The only positive I got out of him is that he doesn't think it's spread into my armpit.....
    This IS positive :T.....

So I have another 9 days to wait.
    :(

Hang on in there Hun :grouphug::grouphug:- but judging from what you;ve said it certainly sounds like you;re in a better position than my family member was at the same stage of the process. You;re obviously not out of the woods yet....and you have another 9 days to wait..:(........perhaps start thinking about a cunning plan about how you can occupy your time to reduce the anxiety?

If you want to ring me to talk it through, please feel free to do so. It might help you feel less anxious and more in control ;)

    Big Hugs........

Edit: just seen your subsequent posts - good to see you are making decisions and that they are centering around YOU!! xxxx

Oh Taxi it is going to seem a very long 9 days will keep the positive thoughts coming your way and I think you are right to re-evaluate your priorities whatever happens - we can get fixated on one area of lives to the detriment of the whole.

))))))))))))))))))))))(((((((((((((((((((( to you and your family who must be worrying too.
