Thanks everyone...I'll get through it ....you're right though that's a long wait!!!!
I have no plans for what I will do while waiting but it will be whatever I feel like at the time.I am going to be a bit selfish and look after myself...as that is how I feel at the moment.
I'm really tired and am going to have a long soak in the bath later ..if I don't fall asleep first.0 -
Sorry you didn't get much in the way of answers today, but the main thing is that they are on the case, one way or another.
Enjoy your soak in the bath xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Hello Taxi, oh no, nine days is a very long time to wait for such important news. It sounds as if you have a very good attitude towards the situation. Money is the least important thing in the circumstances, and thanks to your excellent management over the last few years, you are in a good position where you are not going to get into financial difficulties. Enjoy your ice cream tomorrow.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hello Taxi, I just switched the computer on after doing my mystery shop, came straight here to find you have to wait another 9 days! Horrible, horrible, horrible. I absolutely agree with you, you need to be selfish. What form that takes is up to you, as you say, whatever you feel like at the time. You sound like you feel a bit out of it right now - a bath and an early night is probably the best thing for you. How do you usually react to stressful times? Do you like to veg out, or get busy doing something? Sometimes people throw themselves into work, or into planning for the future - or into the family, as a very young friend of mine with cervical cancer did (she's well now and has resumed going to science fiction conventions, by the way!).
I wish I knew a way to make it better for you .... all I can do is send hugs :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi Taxi
Another lurker decloaking (sound like one of Karmacat's SF ideas). Wonder what helps you to forget time passing? For me it is reading but you might have lots of better thoughts. Think whatever you can do that is a real distraction, whether work or play or eating is a really good idea.
Not sure how we are all going to keep fingers crossed until 26th - vision of lots of people trying to work with fingers crossed - hmm could explain typing/spelling problems......
Seriously thinking and sending positive vibes,
Maggiem0 -

Love Buffy xxxxNevertheless she persisted.0
