Just got my letter and a booklet through confirming my appointment.
The dog food was delivered this morning....I ordered off petsupermarket on friday just after 4pm along with frontline flea stuff for her and I must say I'm impressed with them.
The flea stuff arrived Sat morning recorded delivery and the dog food today...they send you an e mail saying when it has been picked up by the couriers.I only got an e mail about 8pm last night re the dog food being dispatched and it arrived this morningso will be using them again......it was very reasonable as well and free delivery over £29....
Her Frontline 40-60kg dog ...6 pippetteswas only £35.11 and 15kg of James Well Beloved was on offer at £35.99...I went through quidco as well but it doesn't seem to have tracked.
Tess was very happy with the Parcel Force man who gave her plenty of attention and thought she was lovely and also that he brought her a bag of dog food....both packages were really well wrapped as well..so will be using these people again.#
Have to nip out in a bit and get a new headlamp bulb for the car as it went last night..why could I not have needed it yesterday when I went to pick up the rear light cluster!!!!0 -
Am also having a serious think(again) about the savings I put away £500 per month.
I have been saving it in a reg saver@ 5% interest but then tax will be took off it.\it is due to finish on 14th October. My original plan was to pay off the Halifax and BOS loans..this means they will be paid about 10 months early and would save a little bit of interest and save me £382.61 per month and leave some left over that I can pay towards one of the cards.
My dilemma is:
(1) Should I just cancel the savings and pay off the Barclays credit card ..6.9% LOB.
(2) should I carry on with the original plan
The reasonings are that I can afford to carry on paying the loans. It's CCs that I pay a lot to per month..plus obviously the interest on the Barclay CC is a fair amount per month...
If I paid that off in full....I only then have BMI 6.9% to pay and with the £500 I would've put in savings plus the extras I pay off will only take about a month or 6 weeks ish to pay off...just leaving the Barclays 0% one to throw everything at....which I should then be able to throw about £1k per month at getting rid of it before the 0% runs out.
Then I can just let the loans run their course halifax and bos...2011..GMAC..2012 while throwing loads at the mortgage...0 -
that's a dilemma taxi, i think that i would cancel the savings and throw it at the credit cards, they are costing you more than you would get in interest from the savings.
Is there any chance when you get down to the 0% card of reinstating the savings or starting up new regular saver so that you can get a bit of interest before you pay off a lump sum (with the regular savings) before the rate runs out.
Maybe that's a happy medium?0 -
Thanks Lemon tree,
I decided to pay off the Barclays 6.9% card...so have paid £4466.13 off that today and also paid another £45 off BMI card.
I am now personally CC debt free...yippee....(except for residual interest next month)
The other two cards are DHs ...so will throw everything at the BMI card which is 6.9% so that hopefully we will be down to one card this time next month.
Am now also very close to being under £20k in unsecured debt....0 -
