No heating sounds a bit too basic with autumn being just round the corner.

I have been pleasantly surprised today - phoned round for settlement figures on the loans I still have to pay off . Time has crept on as I've been paying them - think I've let the thought of interest rates multiply in my mind and forgot that I've had dds going out to them. I'm able to pay loan with Hitachi Finance off without any penalties soooo today I have put most of it onto a 0% deal on cc (until Jan) and will overpay the remaining £600 with Hitachi over next couple of months. After that I'll pay credit card off again. Then throw any spare cash into ISA to save and pay off Abbeyloan. All-in-all I'm hoping to have them clear within a year. I'm so glad I faced the totals - I was so scared of facing that figure. Buuuttt now I have a 'proper plan' in mind - thanks to the inspiration and encouragement from this site and especially these diaries - :money:

Hope you have a good weekends work - do you taxi in central Blackpool? Hope there are lots of bank holiday tourists for you. Do lights get switched on weekend after BH?

Great news on your loans MIlann..it's amazing how quick we can bust the debt when we put our minds to it.
In answer to your questions..I taxi all over Blackpool and yes the lights switch on is the weekend after BH....

I remember them being in for september weekend I think half of Scotland can be found in Blackpool that weekend

Shaun they have always been the first friday in September (for switch on) and last until beginning November.

Have had a busy day on the taxi today..so am happy about that...managed to work until about 3.30pm as I took painkillers today.

On MSE front...my barclays payment came out of the bank today but can't update until I get statement...
Also sent £10 to Virgin for PAD.

I opened DHS reward account last night and funded it today..so in time thAt can be earning it's £5..LOL

Not a lot else happening..still trying to eat all the stuff out of the freezers.

Anyone had any surveys from lightspeed in the last couple of weeks ?...haven't had any at all strangely.

Off to see what you've all been up to.
