Oh Taxi, you poor thing. I've had two out - but it was because they were kind of half formed, and had the potential to cause problems because of that. I was in my late 20s then, so its a long time ago - but because they were so titchy, I didn't really feel anything after the anaesthetic wore off, I was **very** lucky.
I hope this dose does the trick, and you start to recover now.

Hope you are feeling the painkillers working a bit. Big hug.
Well done on the weight loss - I had really good intentions at the start of the year but that's all they amounted to. I'm not even kidding myself into trying at the moment cos I have to be in the right frame of mind.
The weather WILL (I reeeaaallllllyyyyy hope so) be getting brighter soon so some walks will be in order me thinks.

Thanks all..went out in the morning did my jobs and then came home and took pain killers.I slept most of the day on and off.
It doesn't feel too bad now and am trying to ease off the strong painkillers and get on just paracetamol as the strong ones have sedative in hence all the sleep!!!
I'm not going to think about weight at the minute as have had to have sloppy stuff like chocolate moose etc.All this will mess with my weight.
Am hoping to manage on either no pain killers or very low dose(paracetamol)...then get back to work wednesday as tuesday is our day off.
That also gives me a couple of days to get into a sleep pattern again.0 -
Afternoon all...
Feeling loads better today.I haven't had any pain killers at all yet as I'm trying to do without them.
This morning I've been and filled the car and been to Aldi and Lidl.
In Lidl....I got 6 tins of John West (185g) tuna for £3 and 4 tins of mushy peas for £1 and best of all a carrier bag of chocolate, biscuits etc for FREE...They had a massive box with marzipan chocolte, santas, coins etc with FREE on it..all christmas stuff....
Then onto Aldi....I bought 15 kg pots(49p 5kg bag),2x mushrooms(98p),1 xtoms (69p),2x w/n bread (£1.70)and 3 x chopped toms with herbs(£1.23),2x paracetamol(38p)
So not a bad amount for a £10.50 ish top up shop.
On an MSE front I'm thinking about giving up my American Express Card (I pay this in full monthly).
There are few reasons for this they no longer use normal telephone numbers and use 0845 numbers and automated systems....My cashback used to pay on every penny I spent...it's now on whole pounds...also,if you have a DD to pay in full it goes 10days earlier than the payment due date now....I think you also need to spend more now to earn the same amount of cash back..it's a shame really as I think their service was second to none but they are going the way of other cc companies.
So I've cancelled the DD today which is due the 10th March and will pay them in time for the 21st March which is the payment date.
The lady is also sending a message to the cashback team about the change in cashback ie only on whole pounds istead of total....so I will receive a letter in the next week or so.
My cashback..£59 odd is due on the next statement so I will wait until then to cancel.
I haven't put anything on it since the bill was produced and have paid for diesel with the debit card today.
Not a lot else happening here.0 -
I am *so* glad your tooth isn't hurting as much - you might want a bit more painkiller as the day wears on, tho, and you get tired. Its not a crime!
Thats a lot of good shopping, excellent news! Amex, well, I wouldn't trust them, Taxi, cos they started out as a charge card.
Have a good one, Taxi.2023: the year I get to buy a car0
