Good to read that you are feeling better. And excellent news on the freebie bag of goodies!!

Thanks KC...think I'll just wait until next month so that I can get my cash back then cancel.I don't need it but it was convenient for cashback and eeking the money out but I can get by just using my debit card.It will be really weird not using a CC at all..LOL.

I will take pain killers later if needed as it is still sore but not asmuch as before.

i'm the same as you, only got my cc for the money off petrol that it gave me and the small bonus they pay nearer christmas but they have been eroding these offers over the last year so i keep threatening to close it. Just don't have the courage yet. Maybe i'll take a leaf out of your books.

Hope the pain goes soon. i had all four wisdom teeth taken out in hospital under a general, took me a while to get over the pain and the antibiotics. (mine were all impacted so could have caused loads of pain)
  • oo yuccky re tooth...are you rinsing with salt water to keep infection away?Well done on fee food! I must go at the wrong time lol!!

    Morning all....
Ist march today and nearly spring. After february not going to plan due to having time off with tooth etc I think I need to go back to having a monthly plan.
So,here are my aims for March:
    (1) bring Febs accounts up to date..only a couple of days to do
(2)Keep on top of March's accounts every day.
    (3)Pay Halifax CC
    (4)Transfer £4500 A+L balance to DHs new 0% barclaycard
    (5)Pay remaining £75 off A+L card
(6)Make a start on paying my LOB BC
(7)Pay £100 overpayment on DHs BMI card
(8)make sure £1000 goes through each halifax account..so getting £5 per account...will have to do this in bits this month
    (9) Put £500 in halifax reg saver..
    (10) Do all surveys that come my way
(11)Not use American Express card this month
(12)Shop frugally and use stuff out of fridge/cupboards
(13)Pay for Vet on 12th with debit card not credit card
    (14) Go to work 6 days a week

    On the healthy me front:
    (1)Eat healthy meals every day
    (2) Go for a walk every day
    (3) Read the new bookand see if it helps me heal

    On the house front:
    (1)Keep on top of washing
    (2)30 mins a day decluttering
    (3) 30 mins a day housework.

Hopefully ,that little lot will get me into a routine for future months.

    On the healthy me front
  • Morning Taxi,

Looks like a very achieveable plan you have there.

    How's your tooth today?

Morning Tea...tooth is a lot better.Still achy and bruised feeling but managed yesterday with no pain killers .
I need a achievable plan but if I manage that lot it'll put me in good stead for next month.
