I'm fine thanks..just peed off with DH at the moment.!!!!
He had a scrape in the taxi the other day ..no customers in..thankfully...He was reversing in order to let another cab get past but scraped our car and a parked car.He should have stayed where he was and let the other cab wait...the cab coming towards him headlights dazzled him.
We don't want to gfo through the insurance and the bloke whos car he hit..got a quote for £352 so I've had to pay that out yesterday.I got a receipt so it can go in the accounts.
I need a new bumper and back light on ours...so don't know what that will cost but will need to do it by end of july for pits test...so need to get quotes for that!!!!
So we are pretty short of money now as it is I survive on bare minimum so that I can clear the debts...I just want to scream.
To top it off had bad toothache..so been to dentist and have antibiotics...and a tooth will be taken out in a fortnight...so more money.
The money that I paid for the other blokes car was the money for the car service which I need to get done within the next couple of weeks as the warranty will be running out and if anything wants fixing can still be done.
  • Oh Taxi - what a pain, that's just pants isn't it. I guess the bright side is that at least you had the money there to pay out in the first place, even if you do have to replace it now so you can get the service done. That's a good point re servicing ahead of the warranty running out too - my car will go in shortly for it's 48k service, the next one will then be due at 60k but it'll need to go in a bit ahead of that as the warranty is 3 year/60k - we won't quite have reached the 3 years by that time mind :o

Sorry to hear that Taxi:o Life sucks sometimes....i think it is probably worse because your career is dependent upon it.:o Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
