We always go away in january..Mexico last year,Cuba the year before and India and Cuba the year before.Have certainly missed my holiday this year. There'll be plenty more to come though.
I love York for the shops and quaintness the reason we thought about going there a few days is there are places to visit near there as well and it will a bit like an holiday.
I will see how I am towards paying those 2 CCs off before deciding whether to go.

Going to start my new positive healthy phase tomorrow.
I am giving up smoking tomorrow.
    On thursday I'm joining SW.
The money I save from smoking can help pay the CCs off.
Off to pamper myself in a nice bubble bath shortly.

    Hi Taxi
OH and I had decided on Cuba for a honeymoon. we might have to put it back though with everything else going on. I am going to try and join you with the giving up smoking. I started again with all the stress but I know it's not good for me. I know we agreed to support each other with the weight loss so I hope you'll feel more motivated when I tell you I've lost another lb taking the total to 19.5lbs now!
Glad the car is ok and hope you are ok.

Just paid another £48 off HalifaxCC and my loan of £196.60 has come out today so have now paid over £8k back from my £20k challenge...so feeling positive about that.
I've just had my last cig and am going to put a patch on and make myself a nice cup of tea.

    Taxi!

I found your thread yesterday and boy, is it going to take me a while to catch up! ;) It's nice to see you, though, as I notice you've been popping by my thread. Hope things are going well, and best of luck trying to give up smoking: my parents did about 15 years ago, and my mum says it was the best thing she ever did. She always needed something to do with her fingers, though, to stop her wanting to put them to her mouth, so her and my dad used to play Tetris on the GameBoys (which were the height of fashion at the time!) for something to take their mind off it. It worked, but they played it so much that they broked the down arrows on them from over-use! Still, it was worth it...:)

Perhaps a diversion tactic such as that will help you. ;)

    Best of luck! :T
