Sea walks ... lovely. Any patch of sea will do - I hardly look at the land! The only time I do is when I'm at the end of a long pier, or on a ferry boat - otherwise its the sea for me - seafaring and river family, just a few generations back!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Housework must be contagious - done mine today too - trouble is it'll be as bad again next weekend after being at work all week - then I can spend next weekend doing it ALL AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All this talk of the sea is making me long for Cornwall and the waves crashing on the cliffs - roll on summer.
MialnnJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Same here with the sea/water thing - I think that's the attraction of the hebrides for me - you'd struggle there to live further than about 15 minutes from the sea and walking distance from a stretch of water of some description. Not a good place for hydrophobes!
Sorry the sleeping is still a problem Taxi - probably not a lot of advice I can offer that you won't have already heard but I always find a soothing hot bath and a bit of pampering sets me up well for a good nights sleep. Insomnia must be so horrible to have long term - like many others I've had the odd bout and that's bad enough.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi all,
Pleased to report that the car has passed it's MOT...but they discovered a small oil leak from a seal on the drive shaft so that's getting done tomorrow afternoon under the warranty.
I've taken the paperwork to the council and the office so all that's up to date now and accounts are bang up to date as well.
It was DHs birthday yesterday and I took him for a nice american breakfast this morning..only cost £7.40 for the two of us including coffee so absolute bargain...it was very nice as well!!!
We were discussing our wedding anniversary before and are thinking about having a couple of days in York or somewhere like that..a bit of a break..it's not until 1st July so plenty of time to think about it.
