Best of Luck. Its great that your focussing on what the future holds rather than the debt. Think thoughts and abundance and start ebaying!
I am full of joy, abundance, wealth and love.
I am a money magnet. Money comes easily and frequently.
    Canada excursion fund £1243/2500
    £10000 from £100 challenge £0/£10,000
  • Good luck with rasing the cash:beer:. I have subscribed to your thread so I will watch with interest and possibly steal some of your ideas:p.

Florida is a wonderful place so I hope you can rasie the cash:j. Where are you staying?
  • wow this is gonna be tough. Long day a work, then a game of golf (ha ha), made some tea, and finally sit down to make todays money!!

Blue jeans, We're staying in pop century this time as its only the four of us. We've (3 of us, little girl not born then!) been before with the inlaws at xmas time and stayed in a villa that time.I agree, it was"awesome" and i cant wait to see our boys face as he'll be a lot older than last time.

It feels a little like im cheating as we already raised it, but im gonna include the £2 savings pot in my total as it was always intended for our hols. im just about to go through some bingo offers (checking cashback sites also) i havent done yet as well. then its up into the loft for kids old stuff. does baby clothes sell well on ebay? i presume car boots would be better for the kids toys?

Hello there! I will subscribe to your thread and watch with interest! You've given yourself a great target, and what a great holiday to have at the end of your challenge.

I ebay quite a lot, and I find that baby items do sell. I list them all at 99p starts as the fee's are free to list if you start the auction at 99p. What I don't sell I keep in boxes and am planning on car booting sometime over the next few weeks.

Do you use Quidco, or any other cashback site? I find quidco great, I signed up in October last year (I think!) and so far have made £294.20... would maybe knock a few days off your target if you went through all the offers and used it for your online shopping.

Good Luck and I'll pop back and see how you're getting on!

    CwC :)
  • just finished a bingo session on paddypower. opened an account through quidco deposit and wager £10, recieve £20 cashback. So made a tenner then, and won £6.51, so another £16.51 towards my goal. may change my totalling system to confirmed and unconfirmed. i.e 60 (£2 coin saving pot) + 6.51 is confimed cash in my pocket/bank, but 11.52 (phone) and 20.00 (quidco) is currently uncomfirmed- GOD IM BORING!!

Congrats on the bingo win! I'll have to look that one up on quidco - sounds like a good offer. :T

just thought i'd pop in to say good luck. it's nice to see that you aren't adding the holiday to your debt.

£18 a day doesn't sound like much when you break it down like that. it makes it seem a lot more achievable.

    good luck for your journey

  • hi CWC, i do use quidco but havent got anything near your total! i shall look through the "easy" earners and see what can be done! ironically im awaiting an enquiry for cashabck (topcashback.co.uk) for the florida booking!! that'll help with the target. I didnt get into the loft tonight, that'll be tomorrow then.

Great going so far...how about money you pick up of the street....you'll be surprised how much you can finfd there.
  • Not really any help saving the cash, but I wondered if you had booked a package with virgin or other TA, as a do it yourself holiday could save you loads.

    :o

Good luck with your daily goal
