Ex husband refusing to let me take our children abroad on holiday, help!
Comments
-
A friend of mine who divorced 3 years ago wanted to go abroad for a holiday with her kids - just to get away from here for a bit.
Both her kids passports had expired so I helped her renew them.
I phoned the Passport Helpline to explain that we werent aware of her husbands passport details etc as they were no longer married & had no contact as it was an acromonious split.
We were told to put this is writing - but if you tell them too much, they can refuse the application - so we basically LIED and didnt mention that they children had zero contact with their dad...if we had, we would have had to get the father's permission as well.0
