it's because they can't park for sh*t so they need the wider disabled bays.

I bought a breakfast from there last month. On walking out i tripped on the curb and spilt the tea's. I went back in and they replaced it without issue. However, the tea for the misses leaked as she drank it.

Of couse it was ALL my fault!
  • Disabled spaces are always near the store entrances as well.

I think spaces near the store entrance should be reserved for single people who don't have anyone to help them carry their microwave meals and cans of beer to the car.

Disabled people get to sit down in a wheelchair and get pushed to their car - so therefore the spaces should be further away.

I'm joking BTW before anyone attacks me ;-)

    LOL don't worry i wont batter you :D - this time:p

This subject is actually one of my pet hates. I have a blue badge as i have 2 walking sticks, now, at our main hospital parking is an absolute nightmare, what really hacks me off is others parking in the disabled spaces without even paying for the space oh and no blue badge and i and others end up having to park almost 2 streets away from the hospital. By the time i get to the hospital i practically need A&E not just a doctor lol:o Seriously though it is a heavy finable offence. I just wish that at our hospital they actually did check the cars for non payers etc instead of saying they do when they don't bother. I have left a printed letter on some car windscreens before now stating that they are being selfish and are breaking the law, and how much pain a disabled person can feel by having to walk any length of distance, often wondered if its actually gone through to anyone. Can't stay in all the time and vegetate, can you?

I have a boss who blatantly Laughs and says he ALWAYS parks in the disabled bays at our local supermarket as there are far too many in his humble opinion

I wish people like your boss would accidentally break both their legs so they can experience what having a physical disability is like.

Yes, I have had a bad day today, my legs have been hurting like crazy all day and I'm really grumpy.

If you have a problem with people abusing disabled parking bays and feel brave enough, you can download and print off posters and stick them on the offending cars.

The Baywatch campaign is also good to know about for blue badge holders.

I always find it amazing how many people need to use a disabled space when it is raining!!
