These kind of scams have been going around for a while. They used to revolve around a letter through the door though (again, "valuable item"), and you had to ring a number and give details, such as name, address, bank details etc. so your parcel could be delivered.

All above board, just send them the money and await delivery of the missing parcel you are not missing.
BTW I have good news, an African dictator you've never heard of has left you £20000000000000000 and I have identified you as the sole heir. just forward me £200000 to cover the paperwork, and I'll get things rolling.

I also got an email this week from skyblue couriers about a parcel for collection.was in my junk folder and deleted without opening it. assume it prob said the same, cheeky beggers!

Who on earth would put an email address on a parcel, and if this was genuine surely the delivery company would use it as a contact rather than have to pay out for a missing parcel?

I get these all the time, mostly from people pretending to be from UPS.
