ryaniar flights from 14p

Hey !
Does anyone think that anyone flying ryanscare or queasyjet should have to sign a form on which they agree to read (and U-N-D-E-R-S-T-A-N-D) the Terms and Conditions of what they are buying before spending their 15 p ?!
with a few extra clauses, i.e please turn up on time for their flights, and if you don't for whatever reason, please do not scream and shout at the check in staff about a sick granny or their kids missing a bed time story, because it is not their fault.
I noticed one of these "docusoaps" about budget airways and tantrumming passengers has started up again on ITV. I can't understand how they can make more than one show, never mind series after series !
Then again, I can't understand how I never reached for the off button ! Maybe it's that, Jerry Springer style fascination with the depths of human behaviour and intelligence !0 -
Just flown back from Scotland with them. Chaos on the roads (not their fault) so I found myself at the front of a long queue at check-in with only a few minutes before the flight and 3 bags (15kg allowance per bag - but we could have had 4 bags -1 each). One was only 9kg, the second was 14kg and the last (with all the dirty stuff) weighed in at 18kg. So we were 3kg over on one but 6kg down on the other two. Despite this, the check-in girl insisted that we moved 3kg of stuff out of the overweight bag as she was only doing her job. Aaaarggghhhh! It's like they don't want you back if you've had a cheap ticket.0

If you would like to read some professional discussion about the Ryanair Channel 4 programme, please check out this thread from a forum I have spent far too much time on over the years.

If you are in that position with your head tucked under and sort of in a ball, it means your neck will snap and you will die instantly at the point of impact, therefore you don't die in agony.
I'm full of joys of spring today aren't I?, lol
oooohhhh that's why they tell you to get into that position.... and there was me thinking it was so you could kiss your ar** goodbyeHow to tell the difference between Ant and Dec? ... Dec is nearer the deck0 -

If you do fly with them don't forget to check under your seat for a life jacket. if you find it is missing - or they breach any of the other aviation rules they must adhere to you could make a serious claim against them!
Read their history (including negative publicity) on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ryanair0 -

This is the real problem with flying Ryanair and, for me, was the only useful info to come out of the Dispatches programme. If you pay peanuts you should expect to get served by monkeys!0 -
Yes, that was the attitude of the Ryanair staff themselves. However, some people won't have paid peanuts at all, because they will have booked at the last minute. Do they deserve to be served by monkeys too?LesD wrote:If you pay peanuts you should expect to get served by monkeys!Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0 -
Ryanair has been great for me to Rome and to Ireland. Couldn't beat their prices, I packed light to avoid any surcharges, no hassle, easy checkin, etc. The planes were basic, but that's the whole point - no frills unless you want to pay for it.0
