:jjust brought a ps3 with 3 games for £250 , reduced from £297 from asda.

There have been many rumors about Sony launching a smaller PS3 with a RRP of around the £259 before September, so Asda's move maybe because of this. I'm not sure if there will be any advanced features on the new PS3 (I doubt it), but with 3 games you have still got yourself a good deal, just hold on to the reciept just in case you like the new PS3.

just found this to confirm there are rumours:

Plans for the PS3 Slim are sliding into place ahead of its mooted release next week. Today, new shots from a catalogue for French supermarket giant Carrefour have been dug up, showing the hub selling for €299 (down from €399), and with a promise that “the picture may differ from item sold.”
This comes just days after another French retailer told all and said a new PS3 Slim with a tiny price tag was indeed on the way. Sony, as ever, is keeping quiet.

What 3 games did you get as all the Asda's down here only had 1 game , 1 DVD packs ???

i got little big planet in the box.comes with ghostbusters and infamous.the didnt have stock of infamous,so they said to choose any other game.got call of duty 4 instead.

The bundle I got had Terminator Salvation the game & Terminator 3 the movie in the box already , a pre-packed bundle so to speak .

The PS3 is still inferior to the xbox 360, graphic and gameplay-wise.

Do not waste your money, i bought one of these after getting rid of my xbox360. After 3 hours of playing Call of Duty:World At War, it was packed up :mad:, and then returned to currys to exchange for another xbox 360!. and bought a few extra games!

Lol fanboy no.

I own all 3 current gen consoles, and the PS3 is by far the king when it comes to graphics AT LEAST. Don't believe me? Please take a look at the exclusive PS3 games e.g. Uncharted (sequel coming out in October), Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, nothing on any other console is anywhere near as good looking as these games.
