  • Oh, as for the updates thing, i would ignore it, Windows generally updates when you turn pc off so i leave it to do its own thing.

    Did you download ccleaner and supantispy btw?

    this is the logo for windows update you should see

    it will not update sometimes as you may need to install an "ActiveX" plug in

    you should see Internet Explorer 8 update and some other security updates , download them to close any security holes

    The hijackthis log is clean of infections
