Its the Weekend 15th/16th Aug *Daily Chat*

Can I start the thread by wishing my son Carl a happy 16th Birthday:j

Scary to think I had met my OH by my 16th Birthday *gulp* turned out OK though as still together:D

Off to renew phone contract today getting a new phone for DS and £50 cashback for me.......woo hoo. That might pay for the Indian meal we are going to tonight.

*disclaimer* LouiseJ will try to not stuff her face like a piggy but cannot hold any responsibility if the call of the Nan bread is too strong.

Have a good day everyone x

  • Happy Birthday to Carl.
Sitting trying to decide what to do with yet another day off. :D
Was drizzling but is looking sunnier now. If dries up I will tackle the jungle in the garden.
If not I will blitz the bedroom - sort out the cupboards etc.

Happy birthday Carl....it is quite scary to think what we were up to at our kids ages and think they are FAR too young to be doing anything like that....

I was going to say one nan bread won't kill you but its not what you need when you are on a diet....

    I second that :rotfl:

Happy Birthday Carl! Well today I woke up far too early but ahve already been on PC for an hour - time flies. I am going to clear out 'the classroom' today even if it means just hiding a load of stuff under the stairs. I've decided that not being able to see the carpet annoys me more than having to hoover it when it's cleared.

Kids have a gig tonight which means they'll all be off out at about 4 and I'll be able to play my music at full whack for a change :T

  • I found some photos yesterday of the garden when I first planted it. Lovely little shrubs with space around. All looked very neat. Can't believe how they've grown in 3 years.
I'm in the mood for tackling things with huge loppers or even an axe.:D

OH attacked the lavender with the hedge trimmers and has killed it, I told him not to go past the green growth into the wood but he didnt listen. I now have bunch of twigs where my beautiful lavender was:mad:

  • Lavender gives me a headache.
    Very windy outside.
I could do with Sally's famous kick up the backside this morning.
