    Morning all:j:j
And happy Birthday donny Girl:bdaycake::bdaycake:I hope that you have a good day:beer::beer::beer::beer::beer::beer:

Well the suns out here but it has been raining overnight.

We have had another bad night with the twins:eek: Twin one would not go to sleep again and kept her sister awake. Poor twin two was so very tired and did not know were to put herself.
Twin one when she did go off at about 10:00pm again then woke up 5 times in the night. and manged each time to wake her sister. Its at time like this that i wished we had a 3 beed roomed house so thay can each have there own room.
On the pluss side there eyes look a bit better this moring.:T:T

Off todo a bit of shopping later. Dont need much just a few bacis like spuds. We have a look for any bargins or whoops stuff too.

We are thinking of having one of them takeway asda currys for dinner tonight. We seem to be having one once a week at the moment. But its a nice treat and loads cheeper than getting an indna from a takaway. Must try the tesco ones at some point.

Update on my bad head its still bad but not very painfull as it was its more like just a small pain on the left hand side now. always there never going away and some times gets worse then goes back to being a slight pain. Very strange. Nothing iv been given will take it fully away.
Im still waiting for my appoimntment to come for that EEG thing.

Well i hope that everyone has a good day/weekend.
    Enjoy yourselfs everyone:j:j
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

    Happy Birthday Donny gal :bdaycake:

Overcast here and looks like rain but DH and DS are out building the patio extension! so hope it holds off for a bit.

I know that MSE covers all walks of life and is a very varied forum, but I am hoping for some more middle of the range threads! On the first page we have Weezle's amazing and applauded feed your family for 50p absolutley wonderful, but completely beyond my reach!! and then the Economy Gastronomy thread were people will not consider that to spend over £10K a year on food ( after reduction! from 17K:eek:) is excessive and no one is even allowed to express criticism on this still astronomical amount spent on food!

Here we have a thread where all POV are accepted as valid and not shouted down in true Big Brother style! Congrats daily - support and acceptance.

No idea yet what is for dinner - had Bratwurst from Aldi yesterday and I wasn't impressed, nor was DD, but DH and DS wille at anything and wolfed them down! They had some Chorizo in store and I am wondering to go and get some anyone got a tried and tested Chorizo recipe?

HAlight hugs - could you bring one of the twins in with you, so that theya ren't both mardy from lack of sleep? Or alternatively stay with the poorly one in the lounge. I have had nights were mine wouldn't sleep - earache seems to affect little ones terrribly - and found that distraction in the form of a favourite DVD would help and you can doze off while they watch! How old are they - sorry fairly new to daily. If you are suffering with a persistent headache this is hardly what you need is it?

MSD those fishcakes sound yummy, I am really into fish at the moment, I had atlantic salmon with tarragon sauce yesterday - beautifull - got trout flakes for tea today

Nimbo went to the company shop yesterday - hence the salmon and trout :D I spent £65 can you imagine how much stuff I got? :D most of it was waitrose stuff , crawshaws meat and muller yogs, brilliant :j
    todays plan for today :
going with DH to get some fence panels, I hate looking at bits of wood  but he wants me to help him choose

    some washing to do
huge pile of ironing to tackle

    Morning everyone :hello:

Happy Birthday Donny Gal :bdaycake:Hope it's a great one. x

    Welcome to the newbies :hello:
Hope little twinny is better soon Halight.
Diva, your peppers must have gone from being behind mine when I posted my pics to overtaking them as mine aren't ready for eating at all yet. Churchie, glad you're enjoying your garden so much. x

Fairly quiet day planned here. it rained most of yesterday so the girls and I baked and cooked and then I cleaned while they played princesses. :D I was the Queen :D.

The house is pretty clean so I'm hoping to avoid cleaning today and concetnrate on the garden. There are a few places I wouldn't mind going today but I'm not exaggerating when I say that driving here atm is risky. I had 2 near misses yesterday with people coming the wrong way down one way streets. I'm not whinging about tourists before anyone mobs me but I do wish some of them would read road signs.;) I will make it out to a yard sale in a nearby village though as it promises lots of vintage items. ;)

Fajitas for dinner tonight with lots of HG salad. I got 10 FR chicken breasts in tesco last night for £9 so did garlic stuffed chicken last night and the rest on fajitas tonight witha couple left for the freezer. It's so long since I used chicken breasts as I always buy a whole chicken that it was quite a luxury. :o

Better move and feed the birdies as I can't ignore the chirping any longer.

    Take care all

    Haribo x

    Morning all
    Happy B'day Donny.
Overcast here today, but it's not cold & the washing is driying nicely on the line.
Yesterday I made 5 portions of marrow stuffed with rice, mince & tomatos.
4 portions of marrow stuffed with sausage meat & stuffing.
5 portions of jerk chicken with savory rice.
6 portions of steak & kidney pie.
Most of it is in the freezer, we ate 3 portions of the jerk chicken with rice & put the rest in the freezer as we won't be around to eat it today.
    Have a good day everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Happy Birthday Donny-Gal fiesta.gif

I haven't posted much this week - I'm too tired. DH is still on the opposite side of the world to us, and ds has given up sleeping. He goes to bed fine at 7:30pm, sleeps well through the night, but unfortunately he has been getting up rather early. We were up at 4:30am on Wednesday amd 4:55 this morning.

It's ruining our days as I'm too tired to do much with him, and he's tired and grumpy as he's not getting enough sleep.

OS has sort of ground to a halt. I'm doing the bare minimum to keep the house clean and tidy, and although I'm still cooking, I don't have much enthusiasm for it.

Oh, and next door are having a party tonight. I will be sleeping on the floor in the boy's bedroom, as his room with the door shut is the only place where it will be halfway quiet enough to sleep :rotfl:

    Take care all of you

    Morning everyone

Thanks for the birthday wishes. My best pressie today was a surprise visit t for the weekend from DS, he arrived this morning card, flowers and wine in hand, and restaurant booked for tonight!

Yesterday was a busy day, we went into Donny to the market for eggs, fruit, veg, also ended up with some fresh rabbit, a salmon which they steaked for me, and venison shoulder steak. Then Lidl, where I had a £30 shop, including pork steak, lamb chops, chicken thighs, all on offer, cabbage, mushrooms, white bread flower, Bisto Best gravy on offer, and two packs of Muller corners for DH (£5 for 12). When I got home I got the pastry I made earlier in the week out together with the ingredients I had ready for chicken & veg pies (I needed the space) and set to, cooked chicken which may have just stretched for two of us a dinner, some sweetcorn left over from tuna & sweetcorn sandwiches earlier in the week, what was left of mushrooms in the fridge, I then cooked some frozen mixed veg, and made a white sauce which I added some mustard to, and some smoked ham small pieces I had in the freezer from Aldi, and made pies, it made 2 pies of 3 portions and 2 pies of 2 portions so 10 meals instead of 2;) and a chocolate cake, while putting the chicken carcass in the sc to make stock, and putting a Apricot and Almond Loaf in the BM (I found some Apricots which were a little past their sell by date so this was the incentive for this).

We had the chicken left from the carcass I was SCing for tea with veg and new pots.

Today I do not intend to do much other than surf and make myself beautiful (well it will be a long job:rolleyes:) for the meal tonight.

Take care everyone, :grouphug: to those with poorly/non sleeping lo's or those not 100%

Cranky - perhaps particularly tonight with the noise you could put your DS to bed later than usual then at least you might sleep until 6 am!

I know that there is lots of concern about bees, but hadn't really felt it until this year. Earlier this summer we kept finding dead bees and now in Aldi I couldn't find any honey!

Later to bed just sees him up early, but nasty with it :rotfl:

I am convinced he is sleeping badly because he is over tired. I am going to try putting him to bed earlier in the hopes that he can catch up at some point.
