Vodafone Contract End

Hi,

My Vodafone contract is about to end. I have had the same mobile number for 8 years now. However I can now take a mobile phone from my work (with a new number).

I dont know how long I will remain with my company and would not like to give up my number. Is it possible to get a PAYG sim from vodafone for my number and cancel my contract?

Yes, just ring them on 191 and ask them to cancel your contract, they'll ask you to put it in writing. when you do that, ask to be placed onto payg and it'll be sorted. a few days after they get the letter you'll probably get a call from retentions offering you a better deal. if it sound worth it - push it a bit and you get some freebies too.
i got 25 mins +50 txts, a k750i and a bluetooth headset for £10 a month on a 12 month contract.
