I'm happy for mine to be a few days early, but not late at all!!

Are those who are doing RLT, Primrose ect doing it to get bumps out, or to prepare the cervix, as I thought thats what the oil RLT did, but I want bump to cook away so she doesnt come too early.

Also feel I may gone OTT on baby grows 20 of each newborn babygrows and vests and about 35 of each 0-3 months babygrows and vests and starting on 3-6 months got about 12 grows and a few outfits so far. oops lil miss - sorry (althou it was yesterday!) :p

Well, eviction plan is more underway than I had planned - jiggy, curry and 20mins of hand expressing. Have already started on the increased EPO and I think I will maybe start inserting as well from tonight - might take a few attempts to get it right!!

Onlh thing I'm missing is a big bowl of pineapple - oh well, a bowl of banana, plum, peach and ice-cream will have to do instead. Will have it after BB - which is crap!

did a search back......hand expressing I knew there was somthing! had a go at this yestrday as well and got a couple of drops out, need to get me some EPO and I'm all set! :D

nanc - I think RLT and EPO aren't so much for 'eviction' as more for quicker labors & healing, but don't quote me on that ;).

you only need about 14 of each ;) (unless you get a very sicky baby)

Just to clear up I don't think anyone should be hand expressing before the birth, that was a medically advised thing due to Glam having had previous breast reduction surgery. so please speak to a professional first, I kno it shouldn't be done if anyone has placental issues for sure :)

RLT doesn't induce labour, the scientific study on its effectiveness says it's safe from 32wks and it is to aid a speedy delivery/recovery - details are on babycentre :)

I was reluctant to do EPO suppositotries (due to ick factor) but now I'm thinking it's worth it, LOL!!

Don't forget a pantyliner. Seriously. Having an oil slick stain in the gusset of your favourite underpants is not something I'd wish on anyone else. And Husband still finds it hilarious.

RLT and EPO help with preparation and healing. I was a week late and was induced and I'd been using both - since I ended up having an emergency section I can't tell you how good they are for healing post-natural birth, but apparently my uterus shrank back down at a remarkable rate and the doctor was amazed.

I went on an ebay rampage too :)

H&M have the cutest Superman babygrow at the moment. I bought one yesterday, and a pair of fake baby Uggs.

    Re ebay - same here!

And both EvansAngel and I both have that superman babygrow! Admittedly she bought it first and posted a pic on here and I shamelessly went out the next day and copied her!!

I'm finishing 3 weeks before my due date and hoping to go about a week early rather than be late and possibly have a bigger baby!! Is that really strange / selfish?!?

I know I can't plan it so it probably doesn't matter what I want anyway!

SJ I wouldn't worry too much about the size, it probably doesn't make that much difference. My younger sisters baby was 7lb 8 and she had a really long labour and tore whereas my older sisters baby was 8lb 13 and she had a really quick labour and didn't tear at all.

    Nancmat - it's not selfish, it's practical.

I can't believe you both went so quickly!

Jenny & Nanc - I know what you mean, seeing people going early like that makes things suddenly seem much more imminent don't they?! I'm ok as have already finished work but I had DD on her due date and she was 6lb so would worry about going early in case he comes even smaller than that. You never can tell though for sure I might have an 11pounder!

Today, as well as feeling like I've been kicked in the foof by a mule, I also feel like a great big ball of TMI's!! Everything intimate is sore or stings and itches even inside my nose and ears for some reason! The iron tablets feel like they've wrecked my bowels, nipped out to the chemist and every speedbump on the way was agony!
