    MoosMummy - welcome!!

    EA & Nika - congrats on the good scans. EA, your baby sounds like mine at the nuchal! it took loads of tries and like an hour to get the measurements...baby would not turn the proper direction no matter what we did! hopefully it will be more cooperative on Friday for my (much belated) anomaly scan.

    Just spent all day moving boxes around (well, I did less strenuous stuff & my dad & sis moved the heavy stuff) and am exhausted!! All your pizza talk makes me think we deffo need to order some tonight as everyone's too knackered to cook.

    I knew you'd think that ;)

    Grr at OH :mad::mad::mad:
    He goes off to car boot and makes tons of noise. I'm having a lovely sleep when he rings me at 7.10am to get me to check price of stuff on eBay then grumbles when the stuff has gone because our internet is slow first thing. AM now wide awake and don't see the point in going back to sleep cos he will probably ring again.

    The best thing is last night he told me to have a lie-in today and I was actually having a good sleep!

    Men hey :rolleyes:

    welcome to MoosMummy

    Morning all, well here goes my BS, contractions start about 7am on the 26th, didnt really think anything of it cus they were about 15 20 mins apart and very irregular, managed to cope through the day, at 3.30 i really wanted to go in, rang oh to get home now, rang sil to come get ds, got to hospital at 16.50 and contractions were 5mins, in only thing that made me cope with the contractions was to walk, so i was pacing the corrider, the sister came to me and said is this your 1st or 2nd i told her 2nd and she took me straight to delivery room, on examination i was 3cm dilated, i cried cus all that pain for that length of time i said well i want an epidural, pacing the delivery room my waters brokes then i needed a massive bob!!! the midwife told me to get on the bed this babay is coming, got on the bed examined me and at 17.10 i was fully dilated,the rest is pushing, in 6 mins he was out and born at 5.24, but when they shouted prep theatre marconium i !!!! myself, they started talking medical terms which to any jo bloggs is fine but i understood every word, baby needed resusing and eventually he came round but his apgar was 6 after 10 mins hence why he is now in SBCU, but he is doing well, dont know what is wrong until they get the blood results back this afternoon, but he is definatly picking up.
    Hope that was ok for you, it feels so werid him not being home but he is being well cared for and we live 2 mins away so that is good too, will try and get a piccy on.....
    always on the lookout for a bargin always better when its free!!:T
