evening ladies and bumps,
well where shall i statr, do u may remember me posting last week about on 10th aug went for my edd scan and they fund a cyst on ovary and was going on holiday that night, well..........................
on tuesday this week , took my kids to town to finish geting there school shoes, and making sure eerythig was ready for them, after walking round for a couple hours we went home, after a cpl hours home i felt funny a few pains in my side, and just knew something was not right , so called my MW for advise and she said i must take myself down to A & E so off i went, after being assesed was told they woud contact the gyny guys to find out what to do , they came back and sent me for a scan at EPAU,
Off i went , showed baby doing fine, saw cyst but it had grown to about 7.5 cm x 7.00 x 5 cm , but also looked like it had moved and sh could not see my ovvary , she said sometimes that happens, ok i thught, now being taken to SAU ( surgical asesment unit) to wait for gyny consultant to see me and tell me if i was being admitted or not.
After waiting for a few hours all on my own as OH was at home with kids, the consultant came and examined me and explained , they are not sure if this def is a cyst as it seems to of moved, they not ruling it out bt also said it could be a sack of fluid which is very close to baby, If i was not pregnant this would be a simple procedure they would go in and operate but only being 14 + 2 it was to risky and was 95% sur ei would lose the baby , so he said he would like to give me painkillers and ride it out as long as possible, so the next day still in lots pain they said the same ,then aafter being in 3 days last night i had the worst pain you could emagine e, i thought i was losing baby, but after half hour it eased , no discharge no blood, so they thought i may have a infection now, so now prescribed me pain relief and antibiotics,
when the consultants came round this morning i aske dif they would please have a listen to reasure me nothing happened to baby last night, the young registra tried to give excuse they would not hear heart beat at this early stage , which really upset me , then one of the nurses came and got the unit manager who looked at the registrs guy and looked at me and winked, after the registra guy went the unit manager said , theses registra guys try to fob yoou off so they can get onto next patient, anyway he got hes doppler and found heart beat, god hearing that was the best sound i have heard in a long time.
The main man came round this morning , and said they wanted to discharge me , as they had controlled the pain and didnt want to do any more than they had to and i wold be more comfortable at home , that was great news, so handed with all my pain killers and antibiotics i am now home after 4 days in hospital.
have to go back 21st sep , to discuss further what will happen, will they try leae it in until delivery or may remove once baby is bigger.
Anyhow i am so happy i am home wih mykids, and baby seems fine
Sorry to go on , but so much to sayDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0 -

Nikkit glad you are home and hope it doesn't cause you any more pain or problems.
ML thanks for the info on the cord. I think I'd like a natural third stage.
Off to sleep now as I am knackered. Need to get up and bake first thing before I go shopping and I can't really be bothered! Oh well! Got a 4 day weekend this weekend so that's nice!
Night all xx0 -
you guys were chatty last/this evening! I had loads of pages to catch up on!
You'll be glad to know that Fri night TV is just as crap in the USA as the UK so I've turned to browsing eBay (you guys are terrible) for baby clothes bundles instead.
My sis is here for the weekend and gave me a present of a baby sling! I had been exploring many wearing options...wrap, mei-tei style, etc., so I'm glad to get this one for free to try in case I don't like it (so I won't feel bad about spending money on something I wind up not using).
The only good thing about being on vacation is I lose track of my pregnancy so makes the weeks seem to go faster! lol...top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
:xmassmile Mummy to Finn - 12/09; Micah - 08/12! :j0 -
Morning all! I've woken up for work this morning and my bump feels huge today! I guess baby must have changed position, or else I'm imagining it but i feel very immobile this morning.
Aless- great news on the sling. What kind have you got?
SJ- Good luck with the cake baking. Hope it all goes well. I love baking, except when I know I have to, IYSWIM?!
Back later as I have a made evening of lying on the sofa and doing nothing panned for tonight. Have a great Saturday everyone and good luck with your scan EA!!!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Ebay has struck again.lol
Don't mind this time though i got a full set of birth to potty cotton bottoms with wraps and boosters, including a pack of kooshies all in ones for a budget friendly...........£50.:j:j
I'm finally happy at the end of a very difficult day.
Hi,
Just read your post. I managed to get 3 size sets of Bambino Mio off freecycle and I've sent away for some Tesco doubling up vouchers to get the Toddler Kushies for later on. I haven't a clue if either of these things will work but I'm pleased that I don't seem to be the only one who's giving it a go!
What were the ones you got off eBay, were they an unknown brand?
