Advice on New Modem Router (All in One)

Hi Good Afternoon,
Hope someone can help. I'm looking for some advice on a good Modem/Router (All in one, Preferable) to replace an old Belkin 1 that is on its last legs.
It will be hardwired to a Desktop, Occasionally used wirelessly on a Laptop and the Hammered on a PS3!!! (Inner Child)
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
I'm looking at spending between £40-£60 and can use ebay to buy rather from the shops if it brings the price down.
Thanks in advance
Daniel

Thanks for that but here's the problem, i bought what i thought was a N1 Modem Router off eBay and it turns out that it is actually Router only and plus it say is need to have Network interface card to use it, that's why i'm a little lost now!!
Thanks

Are you proposing to plug a wireless generating device into it or are you in fact looking for a wireless modem router instead of simply the "good Modem/Router" you state?
The Draytek Vigor 2820 range is excellent and it includes both wired and wireless models, all with modems. They aren't 5 GHz capable, though, and come with only one Gigabit LAN port.
The Netgear DG834N is an alternative and the "Gigabit Edition" comes with four Gigabit LAN ports and a modem. You won't find many of those on eBay, though. And again it's not dual band.
Optimum setup is a DrayTek Vigor 120 modem feeding an Apple Airport Extreme Base Station. Both of those you can find on eBay (but be careful what version of Airport Extreme you buy - many people are upgrading and then selling their old ones with ambiguous specifications in their listings.)
The Belkin N+ is single band only (2.4 GHz) and has no modem.
Hi Thanks for your reply. I'm looking for a Wireless device something that isn't too complicated.
I will have a look at your suggestions. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Hi Leopard, So if i went for this and then got an Apple Airport would this be the best way to go?
Thanks

Wrong - There are two versions - one for cable and one for ADSL0 -

The Netgear is also very limited and had a very average performance and the Draytek is very expensive and the performance is also poor.0 -

Hi, What is the difference and which would be right for me?
Thanks
Dan0 -
Cable is providers like Virgin media/NTL and ADSL is for "normal" providers like BT/o2/Orange etc.
Who is your ISP?0 -
