Hello, If you have a spare couple of minutes please visit https://www.postpals.co.uk and pop a card into the post to a child fighting illness (most are battling cancer or going through transplants), it will really make their day.

Hi, I would really love to do this, but what type of things do you send and write? I'm not sure that i would know what to write to someone in such a horrible situation - i don't want to make things worseCurrent Mortgage - £156,633:eek:Expecting baby no. one on 27th Oct 20100

Hello, thanks for wanting to help :j Its best to stick to light hearted chit chat, tell them about yourself, what your up to, pets, or share some jokes or a poem, if you like creative writing you could even write to one of the younger ones from a teddy bear or kitten etc. the only guide line is to avoid the phrase "get well soon". Thanks againBest wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

If a duplicate thread is posted in DT the two threads will be merged anyway so best to stick to this thread.

My daughters are going to send some letters this weekend.0 -
I have been posting gifts to children for the past few days. It is such a good thing to do. I got a reply from one of the parents and it really makes you stop and think about how lucky we really are. If we can help others with just a card or small gift, its a fab thing to do0

Vickie Louise,
Is it possible for you to point us in the direction of children who have not
received many cards/presents to even it out a little, especially for Christmas?'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0 -
