I have been on the maygenta site but anytime I try to upload my cv it says "error in uploading" but it doesnt specify what the error is. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Mambury........ you sound very wise.
Keep asking questions. I would suggest that where possible, you get answers in writing as goal posts often move.

brians daughter....... It would be intresting to know who you met. They only have 2 agents who have been working their for more than a year, that they would chance you meeting as the others may be to honest. The supervisor has been their for about a year. They have a very high staff turnover.

Anyway Good luck hope it works out for you!!

Lucky for me have found a couple of other opportunities.
  • mumbury what questions are you awaiting on answers for?

i met 3 members of staff and have spoken to another 2-3 over the phone independantly of hcc, i have posted on forums and been mailed with ppl who work for them etc. I am starting on a trial campaign they are running next week so will see how it goes. will obv post more then, and once i have been paid lol
  • Hi. How is the search for homeworking going? Is this company still recruiting?

Mambury: Hope you are still not waiting for answers. What are the questions?

YummyMummy: What do you mean about the goal posts??? Do you mean that the targets change? I would expect that in a call centre that happens anyway? Correct me if I am wrong.

Brians Daughter: How are you finding it??
  • Hi,

I have been reading this thread with interest. Does anyone know anythong about Maygenta specifically is it legit?
I have googled it and not come up with any info from anyone who works for them.

    Thanks
  • Maygenta is legit BUT they have few contracts at the moment. I believe all of us working for them (not that many people I don't think) are on low hours at the moment of between 4-8hrs weekly. My other half is with them but has no hours at the moment.
I know they have a very long waiting list of people. Just hope they get more contracts in soon.
  • Thanks for that.
Glad to hear they are legit, just as shame that they don't have many opportunities at the moment. Hope it picks up for soon.

btw british gas dont have any homeworking opps through themselves but contractxchange - an agency do. They seem legit, afterall BG referred me to them.
  • nikki, I have applied at contractxchange for a company called act conferencing, I applied at the weekend but havent heard anything, do you know how long they normally take to reply to say you have got onto a course?
