Hello All....... Haven't posted in yonks so I doubt very much any of you would remember me......... but here hoping :o

Well I was made redundent back at the start of June no notice just a letter and a cheque... really don't think it was handled in the right way but I am looking at it as being paid to leave.... lol I really had started to hate the job it was making me pretty depressed if I am honest... felling much better now though... So at the moment I am a unemployed single mum! seem really strange to be saying that seeing as I had worked for the past 13yrs!!! Anyway I am enjoying my first summer off with my boys and I am sure they are loving having me around at least i hope they do ...lol

Well I will stop wittering now...

Hiya Jet-good to see you back again! MAZ!!!! If only you'd mentioned school uniform a week or two ago-my DD has just left her junior school which was grey uniform, I had loads-but have passed it all on round here!!! I do still have a long-line grey school cardi with belt, in good nick if you'd like it? Must be about age 11 I think-any use?

Lol! SRM, if i'd only remembered about it a week ago, i wouldn't be feeling so silly now!

She needs to wear a blue sweater, so not necessarily going to get the good out of a grey cardi, as lovely as it sounds. I do really appreciate the offer though....

Also, to a secret DFW lurker who has just offered me some help with it... :kisses3::grouphug: and :o. You are an amazing person and i am so touched by the offer....

i am seriously typing this with tears on my face....

Morning all.. ouch BB, hope you feel better soon! Welcome back Jet :hello: Maz, hope you can sort out school uniform OK.

Snaggles if you come on.. why did you have to tell me about Asda clothes online? :o :rotfl: Tis ok though cos I 'found' a bit of spare money yesterday so it has been wisely invested in some shoes and much-needed trousers, and a few other bits and bobs, I mean who can resist £1 knickers!

Glad it's Friday, not got much planned for the weekend but just looking forward to being off.

    morning folks........

i have a confession to make.....

i am skint, and don't get paid until a week on wednesday and Erin goes back to school this tuesday.... and (this is the bad part) i haven't bought her a single new piece of school uniform or her new shoes or anything!!

    This is very bad!!

To be fair she did get 2 new sweaters before summer as she was sleeves at her elbows on her exxisting ones...
time for a quick inventory of what's needed and get busy this weekend....
i may need to enlist financial help off big g on this one. I'm sure she has some unworn stuff in her wardrobe which her gran bought her but it was too big, it would be great if some of it fitted her now.... including the shoes....... fingers crossed!

Thankfully it's a sweater and navy or grey clothes and not a whole blazer uniform job like some schools.......

I'll have a look to see what we've got. What top does she need?

We're in the same boat unfortunately....one off to high school so needs a whole new uniform, including shoes because his seem to have fallen apart and one needs bits n pieces plus shoes because she's really grown recently. More or less the same height as me now
