Well I have been awake on and off since about 2am...not sure whats up with my body clock....I am not over tired and I am not worrying about anything....

Oh well...you would have thought I could have used the time wisely but I have just watched carp tv....

Last swimming lesson for Chloe today and then meeting a client, then have to get some work done. Hope it doesn't rain today....

Anyone heard from Ames lately - she has been a bit quiet and i wondered if she is okay...

    Morning all

Ames was on my dairy last night but I havent heard from DD:confused:

I felt not well at all last night and a bit wooly headed this morning but it hasnt developed into anything nasty yet so I am putting it down to my allergies as I cleaned out DS2 wardrobe yesterday.

BB I hope the pain eased for you last night, very worrying seeing you post at 2.45am :grouphug: I can totally empathise as I had a slipped disc 3 years ago and the pain was unbearable. Please take care of yourself and dont push yourself too hard in that new job *worry worry worry*

    Have a good day everyone.

morning all, thankyou xxx (and thankyou to the lovely DFW'er who sent me a text a while ago hoping I was ok)

I went back to sleep, calf feels like it's been ripped off and am generally very sore today in my back. As long as I can 'manage' the episode it should start to get better within a few days. The cramp is something that I have to cope with because of all the damaged nerves in my leg which is exacerbated when the disc flares. Hoping that my GP will have signed off a prescription that I can pick up after work and I'll just drug myself up for the weekend.

Oh well, teeth gritted , lets get on with the day.

Waiting for shop to open so can sort washing machine. I'm now glad I used a small independent shop as I expect somewhere like Comet etc would have argued for them to send an engineer. I've checked my rights and I can reject it under the sale of goods act but they can say they can send an engineer if a new one costs considerably more, it's a bit of a grey area.

However, because I was given the chance to reject it yesterday because of the dent I am going to say I'd like to change my mind and have a new one ordered. It's a local store in a nice area so I can't think they'd want to get funny about it like a call centre in the middle of India reading a script for a chain electrical place.

Hope everyone else has a good day and Lou hope you feel better soon.

Great news on the washing machine BB - Not so great news on your back - I can totally empathise as they think DH has a slipped disc in his neck, I can see the pain ripple through him..hope you manage to get your medication sorted.

Had a really naff evening last night as ex has reared his head after 4 years of no contact - it really throws DD1 into confusion as she doesn't know if she wants him in her life, so hard to know what to say to her without being bitter and trying to point out what an utter @rse he is.

On nicer news I've planned to take DD's to london on Tuesday for a shopping day, I've saved some money for their winter clothes and I suspect I shall be spending the entire day in Primark in Oxford street - the joys of having teens eh :D
