Dead easy
Puff pasty, roll out, run knife around edge ( but dont cut all the way through ) put aside
In a frying pan SLOWLY fy onions and red pepper until soft ( takes about 10-15 mins )
Put a spoon full of the mixture on each pasty piece, place a slice of cheese on top, then top with a thin slice Chorizo ( optional, but very yummy ) and then add some more cheese
Bake in oven till cheese has melted and pastry is cookedKent Bird!:beer:0 -

Anyhoos.. Chicken, bacon and broad bean slice.
- Make your pastry, I added salt, pepper and mixed herbs to mine.
- Take some celery, onion and bacon bits (and whatever else is lying around) and fry them off.
- Add in your leftover chicken and broad beans, add a dash of stock and if you're feeling posh, a dash of white wine. Then some quark (I had it to use up from my butternut squash soup), some seasoning and leave it to cool.
- Make up your pasties (I put two of my four in the freezer), bake them, slap away OH then scram with sweet chilli sauce at your desk at work. Much to everyone at works jealousy... :rotfl:
I take it it doesn't matter which pastry you use?

That's brilliant - I've got some chorizo that I got cheap in Lidl and I've been wondering what to do with it (except eating it straight from the pack, which is my usual first choice!). Thanks very much - I'll be making some of these!
Back after a very long break!0
