London Planetarium free this week

Okay, just came back from the London Planetarium.
Entrance is via the group entrance. No queues at all. Visitors are given a free entry ticket which also entitles you to £5 off a future visit to a Tussaud's attraction (Thorpe Park, Chessington, Warwick Castle, Madame Tussauds).
Each screening of 'Journey to Infinity' is 12 mins, so there may be a few mins wait before you can enter the auditorium. The show itself is a quick tour of the Solar System and a bit beyond, graphics nothing special. On exit you go straight down to the shop and exit, with someone handing you another set of discount vouchers for BOGOF Tussaud's attractions! Was hoping to see the space exhibition which they used to have, but looks like this was also axed years ago.
Of interest to you souveneir collectors - the only thing in the shop with 'London Planetarium' on it is the £1 rubbers! Probably old stock before the two attractions merged!0 -

Went yesterday with a three yr old and two 4yr olds. Just about right for them really. Got there for 1030am. It was all very quick (I remember falling asleep in the planetarium when I was a child, but no time for that this time!) We were out by 11am and then had plenty of time to pop down to the Princess Diana playground in Kensington Gardens.0
