Hi there
Thank you for the email. You do not need to book, just turn up at the group
entrance for admission for the Planetarium only. Show starts from 10.30am.
Many thanks

I wouldn't get too excited about this. The show only lasts ten minutes.0

Went today with son as we were up in town anyway for a hospital appt. It's true the show does only last 10 minutes but they were giving away free child entry to Madam Tussauds vouchers so we went there as well. Hmm, well whatever floats your boat. Glad I didnt pay full price for it is all I can say. Some very realistic waxworks, but £23.99 entry?!! :eek:Ellie

I went last year and the planetarium was showing some rubbish gladiator thing, very loosely tied into the constellations.

I always see these outside the building. Are they for the planetarium or tussauds. what waiting time should i estimate?0

Today went to Planetarium and Tussauds with the London 2for1 offer. The entrance to the Planetarium alone is actually concealed - its round the side, an open door with staff behind it but with a barrier across so it looks like its no entry.
Queued about 40 minutes for Tussauds for a today ticket ( no real queues for future bookings at separate entrance). They DID ask for train ticket. We had travelled on underground only but had a One Day Travelcard which was also valid for travel on trains, so this was accepted no problem.
Once you've gone through Tussauds the only way out was via another showing at the Planetarium!0 -
There is no longer a separate queue for the Planetarium. This is because a while ago, Tussaud's decided to merge the two attractions into the same ticket, so you have to pay £23.99 even if you just wanted to see the Planetarium!
But this 'free' offer is for the Planetarium only, and you need to go in via the group entrance on the side. I don't know what the queues are like but I'm going there this afternoon and I will post my findings here tonight!0 -

Can someone clear the following for 2 for 1 offer to M.T., what are peak holidays?
Additional Terms and Conditions for Madame Tussauds (M.T.)
Valid after 15.00 on peak holidays dates.0 -
I went to the Planetarium yesterday with 3 children under 10. It was fantastic, really enjoyed it but did not realise it was only 10 mins, so felt like I should take the kids to Madam Tussauds as well. They wanted just shy of £50 for tickets for four of us (that included a £5 discount voucher given to us on entry into the Planetarium.
We did not go in, obviously. The kids were a little disappointed but soon got over it.;)0
