Contract phone for my son with a xbox?

Hi, I've had a quick look through the forum but can't see anything that helps. I'm looking for the very best deal on a mobile phone (any decent phone) on any network must have unlimited txts, doesn't matter how many minutes.
With a 'free' xbox360 I dont want any cashback offers as I don't understand them, monthly spend as cheap as possible but £25 max.
Which sites should I be looking at? Thanks for reading

why not spend £90 on a new Xbox 360? You wont pick up a phone and one of these for much less than £35 - £40 a month on 24 month deal. say £25 for your phone means you are paying £10 - £15 a month or £240 or £360 is this wise?

miamoo, these deals very rarely work out better value than just going and buying the item you want and the phone you want, on the contract you want. You need to research hard into one of these deals, and for the sake of £160, for the better XBox 360 with some games, it may not be worth it. £25 per month on an 18 month deal costs £450. £20 would cost £360. That £5 per month has already got you close to the price of the XBox.
If you're currently on a contract and at the end of it, it may be worth phoning your network and see what you can do about a reduction. I'm on an orange £35 contract which is costing me £10. That difference would buy loads of kit!

Well done for digging deeper, doing your research and seeing through the guff! Not much shifting on the standard prices, so look out for packages with game(s) that your som would want.
