I am so impressed with myself today! I had to go to Tesco because I had absolutely nothing in to eat. Anyway, my week's worth of shopping came to just £12.02! I was sooo careful! And that includes dinners because I'm still off work this week.0

Today I have:
- Got lift to & from work to save having to get money out for bus fare (I can't believe how lovely people at my works are being about this - so generous)
- Put in the spare change pot a 5p & a 2p coin which I found!!
- Descaled kettle & washing machine with "WIZZ" which was under £1 in a discount store (hopefully helping to prolong the life of the appliances I cannot afford to replace...well the w/m especially)
- Did some searching for products via Quidco & Pigsback for when I have money to buy the items so I will get something back for my purchases
- Transferred my £30 earned via Alliance & Leicester referrals to bank account to reduce overdraft a bit (I was tempted to spend it on ME but talked myself out of it quite quickly)
- Have done some washing & am drying it on the line (no tumble dryer)
- Am staying in tonight to catch up on housework & make HM lunches for myself & OH.
Edit: Stayed in & did housework/lunches but also managed to spend some money online on a downloaded single & cd HOWEVER I did them via QuidCo so I will get some money back on both. So if you are gonna spend......you may as well get something back!!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

*Went to Farmfoods to get some Veggie sausages as they are cheaper there.
*Listed a new iron and two baby dresses on ebay although I need to upload the photos tomorrow.
* Booked appointment for house to be valued with a view to moving to a house with a bigger garden etc but hopefully worth a tiny bit less than our present house.
I must look into listing my books on Amazon too, I have them on Green Metropolis
I also got rid of a lawn mower on https://www.freecycle.org today (being collected tomorrow).Nevermind the dog, beware of the kids!0 -
I did a lunchtime duty at school, decided not to fill the car up with petrol just yet. Made soup from yesterdays roast chicken, chucked the carcuss into the pot. Bought son cheap birthday present of DVD rather than spending £100 on him.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

Hello, my first post on here as usually my DFW is all fiscal and goes on the spend thread

We're clearing the garden out, so can actually see the few hardy plants that are still living there. And since I've noticed a slow leak on funds with buying flowers (I'd got so that I would buy some every time the previous lot started to go over!) and made myself give them up - I decided to venture into the garden and get a few decorative branches (dark red stalks and leaves, white blossoms). So that is now looking very pretty on my window sill for nil cost (unless you count the ants I subsequently had to deal with!)Do I Need One Stops All Unnecessary Reckless Spending£2 CSC - £30 :kisses3:0
