  • Not the best day,

2 members of my dept had a row

I felt half stuck in the middle and well if I am honest 90% of me wanted to hand my notice in then and there.

    Sick. Of. It.

really was so unhappy tonight. am so unhappy. Hate the atmosphere. try to do everything right but can't. its just all stress.

    1. will make a doctors appointment. I am 90% sure the throwing up and general feeling of yuckiness the last few days is STRESS.

    2. Go in tomorrow, finish my classroom display (got about six bits more to put up)

    3. Focus on my friends outside of work.

    4. spend this weekend detoxing, organising and planning for work.

    5. start new marking timetable on Monday.

Remember my friend at work is really insecure and just as freaked out as me she is not the best person to go to when I am upset or frightened about stuff.

Remember that I should read my teaching books and listen to my out of work friends.

I will make sure I pay off the CC debt - payment a day and one debt V 100 days.

I will be defined by my life outside of work. Work pays the bills and buys the beer.

    xxxxx

Really doesn't sound good. What is the head doing if all his staff are getting this stressed?

Something else to remember - if you don't meet all your targets and do everything you were hoping to, that's okay. As long as you are reducing the debt and are able to keep it together enough to get through a day at the school, that's progress.

    Hope it gets better soon.

    (((((BIG HUGS)))))) gorgeous girl.

Try to live in the moment sweetheart and do the best you can when you are in it, work gets enough of your time without worrying your weekends and evenings away.

Sounds like you have come up with a good plan there but I agree with George, dont beat yourself up if you dont do everything on your list.

You are a fab teacher (I still dream of getting a grade 1) and it wont be like this forever my friend.

If the vomiting is down to stress then it is time to really get that one sorted!
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
  • Evening all

Well school was a joke today, but in semi good news two people approached me about the problems and I went to the union guy. He siad we should call a meeting and check we had support.

Honestly all the ratings are so meaningless.

I cooked dinner for Mum, she sort of likes it but gets antsy about me emptying the dishwasher and tidying up as I go. and she came to watch over me at the crucial cheese sauce moment so I !!!!ed it up but there you go.

my sister has been round and likes the conservatory arranged as it is - so NOW Mum is really keen to keep it like that. there isn't a frustrated furious eye rolling smiley to deal with how much that annoys me. but its the way it is.

am having a night off tonight mainly cos I am shattered. thinking about chocolate.

not paid anything off yet, get paid soonish next thursday.

then big payment time. On the other ccc methinks.
