Is there anywhere on the web you can get GENUINE free ringtones? A few places seem to offer but they all involve subscription services when you get into the finer details! - any help much appreciated!

Depends on what sort of ringtones you are looking for and what phone you have. The last 3 or 4 phones ive had let you play mp3`s on them, so i just upload an mp3 of the song/ringtone i want and select that as my ringing tone.

Phone is a nokia 6021 on Vodafone and i don't have an MP3 player yet! want the old ring ring noise that you had on the first analouge phones - thats the tone I'm after! bear with me i'm very un tech headed despite not yet being thirty!!!

Can recommend this website, you can download 2/3 ringtones for about 10p wap call. Don't know about a ring ring tone though
