"The new shop is going to be called 'The 3 Sisters', which doesn't immediately suggest fruit and veg to me , unless I'm missing something
"
3 sisters is a crop growing technique, sweetcorn, beans and squash are the sisters, the beans grow up the stalks of the corn and the squash cover the ground stoping weeds! All 3 live together quite happily and you get a lot of veg in a small space.
I've just started lurking on here since my shopping spree to get inspiration! Glad I know the answer to a question on the fashion thread!0 -

You should post!! These lovely ladies have helped me no end over the last few weeks. I went on a shopping trip last weekend, and pretty much everything except one skirt was planned with inspiration from on here!
I think so much more now about what I'm putting on rather than putting the first clean thing to hand on........0 -
Vicki, you should def start posting here!0

Hello boys and girls
Hope you're all doin' fine. I've had a lovely swim this morning and was hoping for a look round the town but there's been a major powercut and almost everything's shut.
It's an afternoon of sewing and a night of rocking out at the Kerrang-sponsored gig in town later (a bizzarre contrast, granny by day and rock chick by night).
Today's number is:
Emerald green strapless cotton dress with full skirt and purple peacock print (£1 boot sale)
Vintage denim waistcoat (ancient)
Vintage purple leather knee high boots (ancient)
Silver bangles, tribal rings (India)
Hige silver hoop earrings with turquoise stones (pressie)
Russell and Bromley leather dispatch bag (50p jumble sale)
Have a fab afternoon and a great night later, guys!0 -

Yay! thank you! Have heard of the idea on TV, but never knew the term!
Did you hear that newmoneysaver? Might need something informed to say if Mary turns the mike on us!
Now, what does one wear for the opening of a fruit and veg shop? A pea jacket and a beanie hat are all I can come up with at the moment! Sensible answers , please, this could be my big break!0 -

Got to be a pea coat, Bronnie!
Lostinrates: I'm thrilled with the dress, been scouring eBay for peacock printed stuff for ages and couldn't believe it when I saw it in a field in Cannock on sunday!0 -
Hello
Today for work has been:
Grey marl skirt (Primark £10ish)
Purple vest (Primark £1)
Grey flowered blouse (Per Una £12 from £40)
Brown snakeskin flats (Primark £10)
Purple crystal ring (£5 Pilgrim outlet)
Now I'm in trackies (£4) and a pilfered bf t-shirt and contemplating the gym but all I want to do is eat the soup I've made that's in the fridge! Decisions ...0
