Morning all!
Work again today for me, and my outfit is:
- Grey tweed look pinafore dress (Miss Selfridge)
- White shirt (M&S)
- Black skinny tie (Topman)
- Black tights (M&S)
- Black Mary Jane style shoes (M&S)
- Electric blue trench coat (New Look) to come into work
- Usual jewellery
- Brown leather bag
In work until half five, then home for more job hunting, a workout and Strictly Come Dancing. It's my sister's birthday tomorrow though so this plan might be changed if we decide to do something as a family tonight (sis and brother in law are going to the Lake District tomorrow so we won't be doing anything on her actual birthday)."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
Yet another quiet day for me!
White skirt with primary coloured boats on it- New Look but free from a friend
Jade green long sleeve top- same as above
Royal blue tights- Boots clearance
Sounds like an awful mish mash of colours but it does work!
It's gorgeous weather here so I might go for a walk later, stick some boots on and kick all the fallen leaves. Then crash out in front of strictly.0 -

Ha ha! You just want to be on tele! :rotfl:
It's the old-fashioned greengrocer's (Fosters??), next to the old-fashioned fishmonger. All the fruit and veg has been moved next door into the vacant Jon David shop , while the 'genuinely old-fashioned greengrocers' gets Farrow and Ball-ed! I think it's the filming on Sat...there's yellow flyers all over Hoylake anyway.
This is where Mary and the team where filming when I bumped into them last time , so there's obviously an ongoing story.....
The new shop is going to be called 'The 3 Sisters', which doesn't immediately suggest fruit and veg to me , unless I'm missing something
Sorry to hijack a fashion thread, girls......!0 -

Morning (just!),
Sorry I missed you all yesterday, I was at home on the sofa being ill. This coldy thing is driving me mad now, although a day at home on the sofa with dh or dd (she's 3) was blissful. Today I'm back in work and doped up to the eyeballs with conventional tablets and alternative stuff too.
Today I'm wearing:
black sleevless dress with cream collar and "bib" - Next sale £15
thick black tights - prob m&s
long black cardie - £25 M&s
black mary janes - £15 dp sale
brown & bronze bangles - £2 Asda
I love Carla Bruni - pure class.0
