At the moment i'm Office Manager for a firm of architectural technicians. I do some of the drawing work as well (which I love, and may consider doing further training in at a later date), and cover everything in terms of admin, HR, etc, where I do use some aspects of the degree for drafting contracts etc..
But yeah, I see what you mean about TCs..
At the moment I'm really happy where I am, but I guess if i do want to do something further I have to decide soon, as i'm told you only have 5yrs after graduating before you'd have to retake if you wanted to progress?0 -

I feel so blue about my wardrobe. I need some serious help in picking stuff out. I think that certain things look nice on other people and will suit me and I end up looking like a lump.
Blog pics are really starting to bring up body image issues
Me too - I have posted on your blog (twice because I forgot something)piratefairy wrote: »lost, i'm not sure tbh..i don't think i want to do it, although everyone tries to steer me in that direction..i kinda do agree that the fact that i got a degree and now don't even do anything which uses it is a bit stupid..but i do love what i do at the moment..hmmmmmmmm..
I have nursing qualifications coming out of my ears but I am not amazingly happy in my career. My job is flexible and convenient and I enjoy it, but I don't love it. My hubby works in an area completely unrelated to to any of his loves. he just started temping there over a decade ago, got made permanent and offered courses, now he is qualified in this area and can't move into anything else as he will have to decrease his salary.

Queenie, hun, have a look at Photoshop Disasters if you're having body image issues. FWIW, I think you're beautiful and have a lovely figure. Remember, all the lovely glossy images of models in magazines and on tele are all airbrushed to hell and back- I swear if they put any more soft-focus on some of those skincare ads we won't be able to see the model's nose...

Right ladies...I'm leaving uni now to buy bubble wrap for ebay parcels and I'm going to drop by primark to see if I can get myself some accessories of some sort.
No doubt I'll be back online later because I am hoplessly addicted to this forum!!

I can't remember what the time limit is, but yes, there is one. But if you secured TC, they would pay for both CPE & LPC in most cases, though it would mean further year out of earning. Alternatively could do both part time, or just LPC part time now, which takes two years, and would be able to fit in round a job. DH managed to earn (part time) while doing them both fulltime, but he DID have a very supporting girlfriend/ wife who made sure he was alleviated from the mundanities of life which occupy time when things got pressured.
We got married the weekend before his finals though, that took a day out of revision....0 -
pirate fairy - would i be able to have ur ebay name? thank you x:jHas saved so much money since joining this forum, thanks to all you kind people out there :j0

Hi
I just have to say you are all absolutely gorgous. We all have body issues from time to time but wear what you feel comfortable and happy in. Sometimes we may look in the mirror and not like what we see but somebody else will love what you have IYKWIM.
Having a major ebaying session, hopefully some of my stash will sell. My only problem is I get distracted and end up buying more clothes!0
