I don't do raw onion, my stomach hates me for it if I try!
Roasted fennel is delish with salmon

Seriously,
thanks for pointing this out to me girls.
I have a big issue staying hydrated at the best of times, so for now I'm going to go cold turkey on the fennel tea and perhaps try something new to get hooked on,
any recommendations (pref that I can get in a supermarket or holland and barret as that's all I have here!)0 -

Just have it with orange then (I do that when its just me too.
)
cooked the flavour is more intense, usually in Italy they serve it ...griddled/grilled...along with things like grilled chicory and peppers etc, so a bit lighter than roast, maybe easier for you at first? (I also don't like grille chicory, too bitter for me, and the italian stuff is super bitter, but I like that raw...:o...honestly, I'm not as fussy as I seem!)0 -
Yum, Sweet potato is lovely roasted, and those tiny Chanteney carrots too, I'm really in love with all vegetables, I'm just not a fruit fan much.
I've already had dinner, Lentil curry but fancy a bowl of veg now, and some fennel tea.0 -
Lost- grilling, great idea!
Vicki- have you got a recipe for lentil curry?0 -
I'm feeling much better about my friend, still sad but I've just had a long chat with another very good friend on the phone and feel better, and it's ok to feel sad. I often have to give myself permission to feel certain things because when I feel sad I want to change how I feel, so I'm just going to let myself be sad at the loss of a friend. Thank you to all your nice comments earlier xx
I'm hoping to list some more stuff on ebay tonight but I've got some journel writing I need to do and I've got a busy day tomorrow and all I really want to do is hang out on MSE and catch up with blogs!!*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -
Right, I'm going to do the sensible thing and have an early night and hopefully get some sleep.
Queen, I'm so glad your feeling a bit better now. Sending lots more hugs your way.
Thanks again for the information tonight,
sorry if my posting about the tea earlier came accross the wrong way

Don't be silly, sorry for assuming it was something it wasn't!
I recommend you get a variety box of tea, to keep your tastebuds stimulated and curious right now.
