I'm wearing a navy babydoll as it's called type of dress from new look today, not sure if it suits me or if I should sell it on eBay... Btw, does anyone here sell on amazon? x

I've never really got round to selling on Amazon, tea..
There is a whole thread devoted to it, with advice on starting an account on the ebay board..
I've listed all my books on GreenMet, only because they're free to list and it just seemed easier to set up..

I tried selling on Amazon before Xmas just books, dvds etc and found that although it is much easier to sell on there becasue you dont have to upload pictures they do it for you, the actual value that we received wasnt worth it. I think its becasue they dont give you the option to make your own postage costs its a set amount and I dont profit from postage but I was losing out when they were saying it was say £2.50 to post something but in reality it was £2.50 to post plus 70p for a padded envelope and then theres hassle etc it wasnt worth it to sell something for 99p...maybe it was becasue we were selling small value items though?

Yeah, I#ve heard more bad than good about it..But haven't tried it myself, so not sure whether it's worth it..I guess if it's easy to add pics etc it may be better for anyone who has LOTS to list...?
  • I sell on Green Metropolis and Ebay but can't be bothered with Amazon. P & P is too inflexible.

Today I'm wearing http://www.newlook.co.uk/1890737/189073712/ProductDetails.aspx with boyfriend jeans. I'm only doing housework so nothing glam! btw how do you do it so it says 'this' or 'here' or whatever and when you click on the words it takes you to the site. I can only do it by putting the whole link in!

I'm just going to update my blog with my new purchases.

I have books on greenmet, that are brand new out an they haven't gone in 3months... I probably won't give amazon a chance then, and just sell on eBay/donate to charity! x

    Afternoon, lovelies!

Hope everyone's okay today. I've been eBaying and prepping the stairs for decorating...I get so excited when we start a project and I've got grand plans for my staircase.

Book wise I keep all my India-themed tomes so it's usually chazza shop paperbacks (I love psycological and murder mysteries) I chuck out after reading. I tend to buy from GreenMetropolis and I sell on Amazon. I always check the ISBN number as if the title's only selling for 50p or less it isn't worthwhile and I'll donate back to the charity shop I originally bought it from.

Today's outfit is up on the blog:
Vintage gent's dress pants revamped into shorts (Chazza shop/ my sewing machine)
Navy dress revamped into a blouse (Car boot)
Vintage red vinyl belt (Jumble sale)
    Grey opaques
White peep-toe 1980's shoes by Renata of Italy (Car Boot)
    1930's anchor brooch (Car boot)
Silver bangles, rings and hoops (India)

It's half-term which means my teacher friends have a whole week to go charity shopping and take long lazy lunches with me. Our first mission is tomorrow, hope the weather improves!
