Happy Valentines day you lovely ladies!
I have the hummingbird book my boyfriend got it for me, it's a really nice book. I'm making the chocolate ones with my little sister later today.. I'd love to be able to do that swirly icing they do but I can't!
    Today i'm wearing;
Ditsy mid thigh skirt G21 via eBay for £3
    Black leggings
White dancer back top from DP
    Black cardigan from Primani
    Pandora, links, sister bracelet.
My boyfriend got me two charms for my pandora, some chocolate and he put together a lovely photo album for valentines :)

Never looked at any cooking blogs so any suggestions would be fab!

Smitten Kitchen is my newest, everything looks soooo tasty.

Daisy, I'm upcycling a small desktop chest of drawers I bought for my old workplace. They're the most hideous garish blue shade, so I'm going to re-cover them with some V&A fashion illustrations from an old calendar, or maybe with some vintage Vogue cover illustrations.

love the sound of the cakes!

My parents loved their little treat bags (as did my grandparents)
they dont usually bother with V day, so Mum was horrified/embarassed to find Dad had bought her a DVD and flowers wheras she hadn't even got a card, haha.

Off to see my best friend soon, I've done her a treat bag too, and we'll share a pot of tea at costa...our 99p Sunday ritual!

If anyone is size eight.... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ladies-Yellow-Vest-from-Dorothy-Perkins_W0QQitemZ320487765989QQcmdZViewItemQQptZWomen_s_Clothing?hash=item4a9e8f37e5
It's really gorgeous, but would never ever fit me, you could fix that hem up and make it look lovely, and it's dead cheap!

  • Afternoon peeps! Happy Valentines day to you all x

Personally we dont do Valentines in this house I have an issue with some big suit telling me I should show my love on one day a year with overpriced and tacky gifts that get shoved in a drawer and forgotten about.....I know Im loved and dont need a bunch of Tescos value roses to confirm that...got a lovely handmade card from DS2 though...... lol Ok stop ranting now but dont even get me started on Mothers/Fathers day lol

Anyway having a rather lazy day here didnt get out of bed til mid day
Busy sorting out my undie drawer and jewellery tangle...what fun eh?

Dressed casual so no pic for the blog Im afraid
Loose linen trouser (loose cos they are too big)
    white vest
Long paisley print dress in white with blue print
battered turquoise flip flops- just cos the suns out..

Speaking of cookery blogs I follow this one

    http://laythetable.com

    and

http://www.domesticsluttery.com/ which is a bit of everything really

Hope you are all well and having a lovely day :)

Also can I ask a really dim question about blogging? I know I'm going to ask this and you are all going to go oh dear you...idiot! lol Anyway you know when you do a review on your blog is it because the company you are reviewing has asked you to or is it your own personal thing? Only asking cos I was thinking of doing one on mine but don't know if I'm allowed to since I haven't been asked. Scared of getting sued under copyright or something lol

Yeah told you it was dim lol
