    Morning gang :)

I was so knackered after work yesterday (not sure why, didn't do anything except draw up an absolutely enormous pile of contracts and rejection letters for seasonal staff applicants) that I went for a nap at 5pm and didn't wake up till 9am today!

Today I have nothing planned except lots of baking, yay. Might stick some recipes and pics up on the blog - do people like to read about cakes or is it just me?

pf - enjoy the walk hun. I'd be out doing the same thing if I wasn't so lazy!

nici - outfit sounds lovely :)

Alex, I love recipes and cakes, def post, I'm looking for some new recipes to try out!

I've been planning the cake I'm doing for Mum's work mate's birthday, she requested plain sponge cakes x 2, so I'll do those
then I'm decorating with pink butter cream frosting and cutting stars out of fondant which will be sprinkled with edible glitter. Simple but should look good!

Now ought to get organised and get out of Pjs, considering I've been up for hours!
  • Hello all. Haven't had a spare second to post this week - argh! Hope you're all well and smiling on this gorgeous day (well, in Yorkshire anyway!). OH and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day - we're going for a sunlit walk for eggs and milk and making pancakes for lunch, then I'll be watching Gossip Girl and he'll be putting together a chest of drawers! Oh the romance.

    Today I'm wearing:

    Skinny jeans
    Blush pink draped tee
    Cream cardigan with sequin lapels
    Grey workman's boots
Lilac flower ring with pearl centre
    Big cream cocktail ring

And will add my cream mac and a scarf and gloves when we head out later. :)

Morning everyone - spent all day yesterday cleaning up and rearranging, and was wearing the same stripey top as Friday, because it's still flippin' cold here. Now to get out of my dressing gown and decide what to wear today (lazy mare...)

Alex and Daisy, I love reading recipes, in fact I even subscribe to a cooking blog :p (food !!!!!!, really...) I really need to get into the kitchen. DH (who is working today, so no Valentine's romance for me) has let his box of Special Toffee get all chewy, so I'll be making toffee muffins soon.

    GG, your outfit sounds lovely.

    Happy Valentine's Day, sweethearts!

It's a beautiful day here today, the sun's out and I'm in chocolate-coloured clothing:

    Vintage velvet trousers (Jumble sale)
    Brown silk cami (Jumble sale)
Glass dragonfly choker on brown velvet band (Mum)
    Vintage gilet (Chazza shop)
    Edwardian lady boots (Chazza Shop)
    Leather belt (Chazza shop)
    Antique mother-of-pearl earrings (Mum)
Bone and silver bangles and cocktail rings (Car boots)

    (Photos on blog)

BF and I show our love for each other daily so there's no real need to go with the masses or make Hallmark any richer. It's homemade cards and quirky pressies today with a stroll in the sunshine and a bottle of rose later.

Never looked at any cooking blogs so any suggestions would be fab!

FairyShazza and PirateFairy - get well soon! My cold's finally gone. Daisy, much love and good vibes for tomorrow xxxx
