I'm fine thanks...........well being brave really cos I had the 1st stage of a dental implant this evening..... the bit where they drill the bone to stick the pin in if that's not TMI. It was easy peasy actually, but my face is a bit achey from all the pummelling!

I'm deliberating (read procrastinating) on my blog idea which is fashion /beauty /hair related with a twist. I've been sorting through loads of old and not so old photographs lately, mine and some of my mums, so it's kind of based partly on those, on how styles are updated second (third and fourth) time around and also a bit of fascination with the changes each decade of (my) life has brought, how I wore an item in my 20's, 30's, now etc etc etc, influences of a particular look / style and maybe how that look is intepreted today etc The working title is "Deja Vu"..........may not get much further than that!!

I don't even know if that really counts as a blog or it's something else!! The thing is I don't think I can do it as an everyday thing and I think it's probably fairly irrelevant to anyone except me, which is why I was asking aboutwhether your blog had to go public!

Anyway, starting to come out of my winter hibernation I think, bought a long fine knit cardi today in a gorgeous cornflower blue colour .............starting to get my mojo back I hope now Spring is in sight!!
  • Bronnie, that sounds really interesting. I for one would love to read it.

I took delivery of three new tops today - 2 of them are absolutely fab! They're funky 'fashion' t-shirts which are unheard of in my size! Half price as well - very MSE :)

I also bought a huge mens hoodie that is so big OH (who is massive himself) thinks it would be too big for him! But I love it - I can snuggle into it and its lovely!

    Feeling good now :)

    These are my fab tops....

It's fun to see things that bring a smile to one's face anyway. Someone posted a Cats dress earlier which was so cute too!

Blimey- I feel like an old lady leaving for bed when I did ;)
have been up since 5am with a combination of anxiety and a cuddly cat demanding attention.

Gotta work out an outfit, hate doing that when it's cold as I have to have minimal layers on to be weighed, but if I don't wear enough I'll freeze, urgh. Have raided my change jar so I can buy a cup of tea after my appointment and am taking my book to resist magazine temptation.

Mrs_Ryan, those tops are fab! Love the cheeky one ;)

Been up feeling sick most of the night as well daisy :(
should rly get up and get all my stuff together and cycle to work so that I can check on everything, then go to the docs. Then run my errands.. Then possibly have lunch with the friend who always cancels plans, so not sure if that's happening..

Hope all goes well at the docs daisy :)
