Just realised Peacocks had in the sale the other day a bright pink skirt- that would go soooooo well with the boots, may have to pop in tomorrow.

Home bargains had little sewing machines in for £10.99, I was tempted to get one but not sure how goo it would be as I have an old Etam floral dress I got off the car boot for 30p and was going to shorten it to tea dress length

Welcome new people, Caroline I love your shoes what a bargain.
I had intended to go chazza shopping today but while cutting through Debenhams I got distracted by the final reductions and bought some high wedge sandles for £7.50 (funded by today's Mystery shopping!) will pop on blog later.
Been at my group and the hospital today so in uniform! Will get changed later as we're going OUT FOR A CURRY!!!
Had to shout that as I'm so excited, haven't been out for absolutley months apart from MS but that's not the same.
Yum, yum , yum, drooling just thinking about it!
Hope everyone is well and having a great day xxx

    Aren't we chatty?

Lola, I never use a sewing machine for shortening dresses as the hemming is visible. I either use Wondaweb or whip stitch by hand.

Caroline - those shoes are awesome, very Carmen Miranda!

Vicki - Enjoy your curry, mine was spectacular last night, what I could taste of it.

teabythesea - well done on the start to your blog. I'm another Latin scholar (but a bit rusty having left school 25 years ago this year, arghhhh)

    Ebay purchase on blog!

    I love wonderweb!!
I realised last week that we've never taken Dylan out for a curry (Wethersppons curry club doesn't count) I think he'd really enjoy the experience as our favourite is old fashion all glitter pictures and traditional decor. I really don't like the trendy refurbished ones much.
He's such a good eater and loves spicy food so should be OK, will report back later!
Goan I was surprised that you went out for curry but I guess where you are you get more authentic cooking? I did some cookery lessons in Sri Lanka which was amazing and have Indian friends who have us over a Diwali and although I do like eating at the "Indian" restaurant, nothing compares to the real deal.
