    Alex, I think the second dress would look gorgeous on you, very hourglass.

    Have a wonderful day, I've been swimming with DH and DS this morning and I've organised a coffee out in town for some of the new mummies from my support group to get them used to feeding out in public.

    Vicki xx

    Cheers hun but I'm not quite so sure - I got measured for the bridesmaid dress last night and I feel like the most pearshaped person in the world :rotfl: Huuuuuuuuge hips!

    Hope the coffee meeting goes well :)

    Vikki you're the lady who supports breastfeeding? Correct me if i'm wrong! I attended an optional lecture on bfing (i dont have any children) and it was about changing peoples views opinions and the LAW?! on the subject!! Was a very interesting lecture I have to say. Some of the stuff some people said really made me squirm and feel ashamed for them!

    I just don't get how anyone can find it wrong or offensive. I've asked DH in the past and he agrees, but did say he has found himself feeling uncomfortable when realising that while gazing benignly at a baby people might think he's checking out boob. I'd never thought about that before and now find myself worrying I'm making mum's uncomfortable, when actually I'm checking out their cute baby, not their booby! Is it bad form to smile at a breast feeding mother? Does it depend on whether you are a male/female looking? DH and I both like babies, not having one of our own though its hard to know what the etiquette over this is. I think its rather beautiful to see really...is that weird? Its just ...natural, as if...purpose is being achieved.

    I agree Lir, it is a beautiful thing. It's what our boobs are made for after all! I suffered cancer aged 2, I was still being breastfed and everyone encouraged my mum to keep on breastfeeding me because of all the good stuff. I did have a much quicker recovery rate too :)

    Hello Mommyme - I was on your other thread so welcome to our world. I have two boys and am nearing 40 so I'm desparate not to become a Next catalogue showgirl. Love those pumps!

    @Alex - second dress definitely and if you see a teal cardigan that would go with it let me know because I need one.

    @pf - thank you - I await the postlady.

    @vicki - I didn't breastfeed (Ex wouldn't allow with DS1 - strange relationship don't go there) DS2 had tongue tie so couldn't latch on, but I am proud to have solely expressed for him for over a month. I would have done longer but it wasn't physically possible.

    Been CS today as flea market had shut early as it was snowing. I got a red fitted cardi, an emerald green handbag with silver bits, a silver bangle and a black NL top with a big coloured flower print on the front. All for £8.75. I did see a pretty TopShop tea dress but it was £8. Also bought DS2 some Ben10 and Pokemon stocking fillers from the 99p shop. Hopefully he'll still like them in December!
