Daisy ...just checked your blog too (I'm trying to catch up with everyone) and adore todays outfit...how wonderful you look! I love everything about it, the tights especially.0

Aw, thank you
I'd forgotten I'd had those tights, they were an un-expected gift from a friend, I must wear them more!

Goan mad, every shot I see of your home I love it a little more. I love your style so much, we love similar things only, I think you have better taste....;) I love kitch too (although I'm slightly concerned about DH's ambition to own a whole flock of plastic, lifesized flamingos) and antiques, and the harmony the two can have together with a burst of colour and just the right note of austerity from floor boards or similar. The austerity bit is the thing I find hard...I just can't stop adding...colours and stuff.
I so want you to take me bric a bracing and charity shopping though....your eye is eagle sharp, and the bargains round you astounding. You should consider offering your services as personal shopper and stylist ....

Oh, how kind! It does take a lot of self-control not to go overboard. I love mad wallpaper and bright paint colours but it does no justice to my ecclectic collection so I've gone for the "aged white" walls and Jacobean wood stain.
I love those flamingos and have been toying with the idea of buying a few but sadly I feel they'd go the same way as my collection of antique chimney pots and be robbed by some passing scumbag!0 -
Evening all - phew a day at work and so much on this to keep up with and I haven't even checked out all the blogs yet.
Goan -so jealous of your trip;)
Caroline - I'm also away for a few days in April so it'll be a bit quieter we're off the Longleat then over to Legoland for a few days hopefully pass a few Chazza shops along the way;) the trip itself was very MSE premier inn cheap rates and all attraction tickets with my tesco vouchers.
Vicki - swallow earrings sound cute- I have been to Asda tonight as well - will have to pop back tomorrow
LadyFalco - My IC boots arrived today:D but I wasn't in:mad:, they've left them at the PO so will have to pop round tomorrow for them
Am slightly down as this time last year we had just arrived at our hotel in Manchester for the night before jetting off to Florida the next day - I so need to go back:(
Anyway onto todays outfit:
Black skirt - Tesco sale £1
Primark black !!!!!bow top £8ish and a few years old
Turquoise tights -primark now have holes in the toes:(

i think, for the price they are a fun summer buy, nautical chic, and though i remember my sister wearing them and feel exempted from purchase myself on grounds of remembering the eighties ...they are practical on a breezy summer day:o0 -
