NOT a date!
ETA - I'm fairly sure I'm not going to go anyway, possibly will cause too many problems :S
I love my male friends, some of who are casual exes, and who D knows and gets on with. I have to say though, since DH came on the scene I wouldn't go to the cinema alone with them...except those I know are very HAPPILY married or loved up. Why? Because regardless of how platonic I know it would be from my side you can never be entirely sure how it feels from there PoV, how it would sound if relayed by trouble makers to a new girlfriend or insecure wife/partner, or a plethora of other reasons. Similarly, though I hav no problem with DH spending time with his girlfriends (and he has loads) there are one or two specifically I would feel uncomfortable with had he gone for a film and meal with...how ever faithful i know HE is.
If its trouble you are seeking to avoid Dear Girl....I'd avoid this....or go as a group.0 -

I know, Lost..That's why I've been umming and arring for the last week or so, since he asked..He completely and utterly knows my situation and has been great from a moral support POV, but there is a part of me that is kinda concerned..which is why i'm fairly sure i'm going to listen to my head and not go, rather than listen to the friends who tell me to go as it will take my mind off sitting at home nursing my broken heart..
believe me, i know all too well that married men are trouble :S
