Tomorrow I'm going to make the effort to be a bit more colourful. My mum is taking me to a retail park which has the biggest New Look EVER, and also Outfit, Matalan and Peacocks. Fingers crossed I'll find something nice.
Where's that? (New Look addiction - trying to wean off.)0 -
I live in the East Midlands - so it's too far. Probably not a bad thing!0

Hello, that's meI'm a newbie blogger and I love all your blogs (though I am still working out who is who)
I'm having real trouble posting on here at the moment. So going to do this in stages before I lose it all (again!)
Wednesday:
Howies Warm Mary Jeans (Howies sale)
Maroon vest top (American Apparel)
Red and Navy 70s Hooded tracksuit zipfronted top (£5 vintage clothes sale - though I currently can't decider whether it is indie girl chic or a little too Jimmy Saville....)
Black high top baseball boots (Ethletic)
Black leather jacket (Superdry from Cult)
Thursday:
Black roll necked jersey dress (American Apparel. I have a bit of an AA addiction!)
Large grey cable knit cardigan (M&S. It is so so warm and the air conditioning in my office is always fierce)
Kilt pin broach (homemade)
Black tights
Black mary janes (peacocks)
Tweed coat (ebay)
Will be back with todays once I've got dressed!
I know it's probably the wrong thread but it's kind of fashion based (dressing your home, you could say!) but I've also been inspired by some of the vintage interiors since I discovered the wonderful world of blogs. I'm moving in to my first place on my own next week and have started squirreling little items that are miles away from the functional stuff my ex-husband likes and towards the still functional but also pretty. Recent thrifted/ ebayed finds have included - silk bedspread throw, gorgeous vintage kitchen scales, a beautiful vintage metal coffee pot and a gorgeous grey reconditioned dial telephone. So ta for showing your homes in your blogs as well, they are as inspiring as the clothes.
Hope you are all okay xx:beer:0 -
Rainy, where is your blog ? Hopefully you'll be able to show us some of the home bits you've acquired recently..

I'm so envious of all the lovely homeware type things the bloggers have. We're in a rented house at the moment which is very nice but very beige and we aren't allowed to change it
I try and sprinkle some funky touches in but I sense the overall impression is still dull.
Today's outfit is:
Black cords - Monsoon
Ivory spooky scenes printed tshirt - Dotty P
Black cashmereish cardi - Next clearance store
Black ankle boots
Somewhat gaudy faux gold and pearl chandelier earrings - Primark
I'm away for the weekend to celebrate Mum's 60th birthday so no posts over the weekend from me. We'll be hitting the charity shops in Skipton good and hard though so hopefully I'll come back with some lovely bargains0 -

Compared to the tiny branch in our town, it's massive. It's quite a long drive from us though, which is probably a good thing!
The Galleries? The only one I know near Washington (Im in Durham)**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -

Morning, I've been up since 5, ugh. I was too cold to sleep
I have been productive though, replied to some e-mails, read a few chapters of my law text book and have a lemon cake in the oven!
Wearing:
Grey 1/2 sleeve top: A-wear
Nude lace vest: New Look
Sheer heart print tights: New Look (forgot I had these till another blogger posted hers yesterday!)
Denim shorts: New Look
Weather looks dismal so might just stay inside today, we'll see!0 -
Ooh, I have that strawberry jumper, I'd forgotten about it till you said, bluebell!
And well done on the productivity daisy, i was the total opposite this morning, woke up incredibly early (as usual) and just read my book for waay too long, and then left far later than usual for work :S0
