Fashion chat- Dressed up or down??? All welcome!!

Morning everyone! I have been absent a few days, only because I didn't get dressed! And when I dressed on Xmas Day it was only the same outfit from the other day (Purple fake wrap dress from Tesco and black tights) that was on the floor he he!

But today I got dressed to go the sales, once my poor car got past the ice at the end of the street! And the sales in Bolton were awful..

Anyway todays outfit is:
Multi coloured floral top, Primark via eBay
Blue jeans, Evans
Black boyfriend cardigan, Primark
Slip on black shoes, Primark (I desperately need some flat boots!)

It's my birthday today (28? Really? Booo!!!!!) so tonight will change to go for a Thai meal into:
Black tunic with cream lace at the top, Dorothy Perkins via Santa!
Then either black skinny jeans and black heels or black leggings and knee high boots from Evans, I'll see later. Will have a root through my drawer for an appropriate bracelet too!

I'm still in my pj's again Time off work seems to equal not getting dressed at the moment!

Did anyone get any lovely fashion related presents? I've had a bumper year for footwear - loads of lovely socks, slipper socks, house boots and these beautiful shoes Oh and a fab pair of stripy earmuffs and some brilliant handmade armwarmers. I've been a lucky girl this year!

I can't really be bothered with the sales this year. Have ordered some black jeans and a nice t shirt from Dotty P's (and a fab dress which won't fit for a while) but I haven't got the energy to either hit the shops or spend hours wading through webpages.

I braved the sales today at our nearest out of town mall and despite having to drive around for ages looking for a parking space it wasn't that bad and I pushed the boat out and got a few things to add to my online splurge of yesterday which included a DP purple velvet tailcoat which I'm hoping fits as it is a size too small but it's beautiful.

Hello! We're finally back in our flat and away from the families (as much as I love them, sharing a bed with your sister gets old quickly!) but disaster has struck - I left my hair straighteners there! ARGH! We're having people round in 30 minutes so my hair is being tamed albeit half-heartedly by a flower clip. Sigh.

Anyway, I'm wearing:

Floral tea dress
Navy long sleeved tee
Denim shirt
Black tights
Brown plaited leather belt
Black knee length socks

We've just stocked the fridge with booze and food and we're ready for Christmas celebrations take 3! Hope you're all having a great evening.

Oh and in terms of fashionable gifts, I got a years' subscription to InStyle which I'm so pleased with. I also succumbed to the ASOS sale on Christmas Eve and bought myself a little treat - a pair of beautiful brown leather Steve Madden biker boots. I won't tell you how much... they had £50 off but still very expensive! I love SM though.

hi guys my first post on here i think even though fashion is my passion apart from money saving....never really equated the two until i found this site

I am wearing a grey vest top from new look £3 about 2 years ago and my new la senza pj bottoms £8 in sale It was worth it even to queue round the whole shop and witness a bust up between two women in the queue. Did not think much of sales in general though.

Ok I have a question and hope you can help - anytime I think of an outfit to wear lately I think of a lovely tunic and dark tights or leggings. Alot of you girlies on here seem to wear dresses alot - where do you get them??? Am i shopping in too cheap places??? or a season behind??? could not find any in sales, and any i had my eye on in new look i have looked on their website and all still full price Gonna have a look on boo hoo, ASOS etc, but any advice appreciated........oh and btw hoping to get it in time for NYE as really have no idea what to wear........thanks in advance
